Kinda empty for a day when the calling is sending us to the zone. I was thinking to check if the higher presence of people today would make a difference but there is barely anybody do the hunt events (other than maybe when the mount one is up).
Is it not worth the stygia relative to the other parts of the zone?
The calling is to kill 3 rares or special encounters. You can do that within a couple of hundred yards of Venari, I don’t see why that would tempt people into the beastwarrens.
The special encounters down at the Beastwarrens are dead apart from the one that can give a mount. Even that one I had to solo (died but the boss stays in combat if you can get it to the lower level before dying.)
It is an unlock in a zone that a lot of people don’t like (some do like me) that requires travel which is an unlock and/or mount so the population is reduced instantly, add to that the fall in players and the grouping system in the Maw and it is very quiet down there.
Yes, the calling doesnt justify going there which is what I was checking if it was going to happen organically (seemingly not).
Im actually a bit perplexed behind the phylosophy for this zone. The stygia is clearly linked to player power via the conduits, Thorghast upgrades and sockets. Yet, its being promoted as optional content with almost no shortcuts for alts. If I follow this logic, then the whole game may as well be considered as optional and not bother playing it. Bit of a rant, I know but something is amiss here.
If it is kill 3 rares anywhere than that is just as ‘complicated’ as the 20 souls
But i had the impression it was a calling in an area where i got the storyline ‘do the hunt’-quest because i have not really yet opened that area
no any of them - it is the quickest of all callings, there are three 100 yards from the stone… in and out in minutes. Save the turn in though, you get valor apparently next reset for them
It does have a feel about it, two quests that pop up a few times a week and a few rares, there is the whole area in the north that is used for the initial opening quest then (as of yet) never again.
