Have started to run the Maw with this character and I thought you could mount as I can do it on my main character but no.
Does that mean I have to do the whole campaign on this character too and on all other characters if I want to use mount in the Maw?
There was supposed to be a skip for alts. No idea what it skipped and what had to be played.
You can mount in the Maw when you unlock Korthia, either via doing the Korthia campaign, or using the skip. You do not need to do the covenant campaign to get there, you only need Korthia unlocked one way or the other.
What is the fastest way to do it?
You need to do the Korthia introduction quest from Ve’nari, For that you DO NOT need to have done the covenant campaign, and you do not need renown. You should be able to pick it up right away.
I think the question was - if its unlocked on her main, then surely the alts should have it too. The thing is - why isnt it??
Ok.
Thank you.
I’ll check it next time I log in.
Can it be that is because my main is on other realm that mounting is not unlocked or it does not matter what realm you play on?
Most likely for the same reason you can mount and fly fast at level 40/50 but not at level 1, where you can’t mount at all(with a few rare exceptions)
Nope, the alts need to unlock Korthia too, with or without the skip.
Perhaps someone does NOT want to have mounting in the Maw, with the Eye of the Jailer disabled on an alt just yet? Perhaps they still want to do the achievement involving the Eye, which is considerably harder with Korthia unlocked.
I know that when I chose the skip for my alt, I was able to mount up on my alt, but my main was not, which was weird, but this was the first few days of when patch 9.1 dropped. So perhaps this was a bug. After completing the quests on my main, my main could mount up in the Maw.
