The most beautiful zones in WoW

Hey guys. It is not a new idea to ask for the most beautiful zones/places in WoW in your opinions. But this topic made me want to research it. So i made a google questionary so every one can tell their opinions and ill share the results later here in this thread. You can of course spread the google doc questionary, i would very much appreciate it since it helps my studies.
The link is: [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdla7diK2ClGpxAOICR_mq1oQUQ-pymFu1PHFEefwKTHHbrgA/viewform?usp=sf_link]
My thanks to anyone participating.
And as for me, the 5 most beautiful are: Zangarmarsh, Teldrasil, Grizzly Hills, Duskwood and Jade Forest.

Teldrassil doesn’t look so good atm tbh

Edit - but seriously I love grizzly hills

My list would go by aesthetics as well as everything in the zone including its ambience, so here goes…!

(In no order, and it’s by no means complete, just the most memorable!)

Drustvar
Gorgrond
Nagrand (Draenor)
Shadowmoon Valley (Draenor)
Suramar
Thunderbluff (Mulgore)

If you don´t mind, I will count that later into the research :slight_smile:

For me, it’s

  • Feralas;
  • Winterspring;
  • Mulgore;
  • Arathi Highlands;
  • the Storm Peaks.

Val’Sharah,
Suramar(the city),
Shadowmoon Valley in Alt-Draenor

Storm Peaks - amazing music adds to the experience
Howling Fjord - aesthetics and music
Vashj’ir - I really hope they will add another underwater zone one day. That was great experience for me
Zuldazar- always liked trolls and this is it’s pinnacle, and that music. I can sit there just listening to it
Drustvar - haven’t seen it all yet but from what I have seen so far it’s great

  1. Howling Fjord and Grizzly hills. The Music, and the aesthetics are singularely perfect.
  2. Old Nagrand. Flying islands and open plains (plains remind me of my WoW-beginning in Mulgore)
  3. Vashj’ir. looked great, played horrible.
  4. Mulgore because it feels like home somehow :wink:
  5. Stranglethorn (all of it) because i like the mix of Jungle and Troll-Ruins.

Zuldazar. Not as a troll fan, but because I love the jungle settings.

And I also loved Nagrand. WoD Nagrand that is.

The classic Barrens were also cool, it seemed like some huge savannah.

Tirisfal glades
Hellfire peninsula
Zangarmarsh
Tanaris
Ghostlands

Elwynn Forest
Nagrand
Eversong Woods
Grizzly Hills
Zuldazar
Shadowmoon Valley (Wod variation)

Gilneas, Drustvar, Duskwood, Silverpine and pre-Cata Plaguelands in no particular order. I just love dark, forested zones.

How could I forget Gilneas, I shamed myself on this day.

You didn’t forget it.

We just don’t include it in “The most beautiful zones” because Gilneas is not just a zone. It is a paradise, hence it is above any comparisions.

This is true. Gilneas is what all zones should aspire to be.
