The most impor- ridiculous post you'll ever read

Cause my style is ri-dic-dic-dic-ulous-ulous
Brr, skibidi dop, dop, dop yes, yes

Now that I have your full attention let’s break it down.

TF2 gmod was it.
It was the trend setter and it came first.
The overly animated, absurdly distorted glitched facial expression, combined with rapidly changing camera angles were the inspiration for most vine (then tiktok) trends.

The channel behind the skibidi toilet videos, ‘dafuq boom’ has farmed a… small amount of 3 billion views within one month of going viral.
Someone more invested in reviews is probably already writing a deep dive analysis review how to interprete the visual presentation and the true meaning behind it all on a grand social scale, from a political and religious point of view.

If this was 2010-2015 we would probably see blizz add a homage of this meme into the game, as it has been doing previously. Last time was the lmfao dance for pandas.
As for this skibidi meme, the ‘camera man’ dance would have been a solid choice, but since it’s literally the fortnite dance, we won’t be seeing that.
Would be hilarious though if we could obtain a acc wide toy that makes every race do that dance, but the work to rig animations for 1 race is insane, not to mention all of them. And then the possible copyright baggage that comes with it, so no.

To me personally, it was a solid bunch of hm-hm-hm-hmm chuckles I got out of this whole thing, with some gmod memberberries. The primal comedic value of the random animations and overall absurd setting not only makes this meme stand out of the current main “meme-dia” content stream, but also appeals to the zoomers and boomers for reasons mentioned above. Having a somewhat stagnant period in the timeline might also have been a contributor to the success of it.

This has been a general post.

I couldn’t get past your specatcles.
