You can only do Mythic raids ONCE a week, to potentially getting nothing, unlike M+ where you can do as many times as you wanted as long as keys are available which is in no shortage of… makes sense to have the Raid having a slightly higher ilvl.
I proposed giving m+ dungeons a lockout system to a diehard m+ runner once, to which he replied that we should do away with mythic raid weekly lockouts instead.
My experience is that a lot of M+ runners who do not raid just feel inferior to raiders. It rubs their ego the wrong way and they seek vengeance.
Crazy stuff, I know.
No. If you want to succeed at high level m+ you will likely need to raid. Not a problem for most people but it is for the OP that pushes quite high.
You don’t have any experience, its your opinion and its based on feelies and worth about as much as sand in the desert.
M+ isn’t dropping anyway mythic gear, so you are not even getting POTENTIALLY nothing. You simply get nothing. M+ rewards 1 item on mythic track in the vault and that’s it per week.
Becouse 5 man will awalys be eayser to do then 20 man raid?
Read what I wrote. Obviously I meant experience as in chats and conversations with people who still raid and run dungeons.
Pseudo-intellectual. I guess you are the one whose massive inflated ego gets rubbed the wrong way.
Because no? Infinite scaling forever wins.
Is it harder to get 5 randoms together or run guild and schelufe your life around other people ?
Yes normal raiding is harder than +22 keys. Just because you have to schedule.
+22’s are not doable with randoms either. It IS literally their life.
So no experience. …
And I don’t get rubbed the wrong way, I have cutting edges, could get them again if I choose to do it but its a big time sink and commitment.
Looks like you getting rubbed up the wrong way when I point out that talking about something on reddit doesn’t equate to experience.
You: “In my experience as a rocket scientist”
Another: “Prove it”
You: “I have had chats and conversations with rocket scientists”
And you have the gall to call me a pseudo-intellectual.
Nice long reply, You must care a lot of your image or what I think of you. And the people I have spoken to are my long-term friends, thanks.
Do you have anything else to add?
Yea, if you think thats a long reply no wonder you struggle with concepts longer than a tweet.
Hilarious that the talks I have with my friends is reason enough for you to have a kneejerk reaction.
Goes to show that the talks were on point.
Go ahead. Next attempt at putting me away.
All I did was point out chats with friends aren’t experience. Y so mad?
You misunderstood (probably thought you had a gotcha moment) and were not courageous enough to admit it.
I am genuinely curious what else you have to say. You enthrall me.
Raiding dies because its an outdated system and tedious in a modern gaming environment. The wow community getting older & older which leads to a point where people don’t want/cant login 2-3 times a week for 3 hours with no excuses. People have families or other hobbies to participate so its not uncommon to game for 2 hours make 2 hours break & game again.
The problem here is clearly raiding & not m+. So how could we fix it?
- no server requirements at day 1. Atleast after rwf. This would make pugging raids way easier like the next point too.
- no raid lockout after one attempt. It should be possible to raid on 2 separate bosses with 2 separate raids. This would make pugging raids way more comfortable.
Haha you cant compare only mechanical difficulty of bosses and numebers rofl. Thats not only thing what goes into difficulty of raiding like at all. You have to compensate people for fact raids take way more time and are more complicated to setup.
Dungeons aka m+ are even more outdated.
In the meantime people can sell CE boosts with having people laying dead on the ground for the whole fight. And for the highest keys you need to have a specific setup and 30 minutes full attention of all people or it is a failue. What boss is taking 30 minutes in the raid?
It is clear an infinite scaling system will always be harder. It is where perfection is needed.
Don’t waste your time, he is trolling.
