They increase the level of myth track relative to hero gear, the upgrade track is even longer than before. Crafted gear will now be 10 item levels lower than Myth track, up from 3. Mythic raiders will be fair fair out ahead in terms of ilvl when many players just want to play M+ now. They try to brute force participation when people just don’t want to anymore.

You now need 98 M+ runs to cap out your gear, from 45 in DF. Myth track gear is more powerful, hero gear less powerful, crafted gear less powerful than DF. <
Just make Mythic track gear drop from high keys already, stop making us raid for trinkets and cantrips. Mythic raiding is degenerate and many don’t want to participate, make M+ gear the best gear for M+. Not different content.
Essentially it is a return to pre-crest times, only now you get the same result with the crests and stones. So, we were eased into the system because it makes the gearing process longer. But I think many players want that and for them it is not a chore.
All they did was convert al myth track items to “very rare”.
In DF only raiders could get the very rare items from the last bosses that could be upgraded to highest ilvl. Now everyone doing m+ or early mythic raid will be able to get that ilvl without needing to kill end bosses.
But yeah the grind for the crests (ESPECIALLY for alts and catchup) should be lowered abit.
Then this also means that you won’t be able to collect mythic tmog appearance by upgrading hero track items, right? Correct me if I’m wrong. This would be really depressing.

plus you can grind mplus for your bis gear, you have still id lockout on raiding
if you are able to do rly high m plus, mythic raiding shouldnt be a problem

You can do your title push every week right? nah there were “push weeks”, but thats a wild take from me, that you get the highest score more easy on 2-3 weeks in a season which lasts 4-5 moths, yep that must be better
It’s not a skill issue, it’s a “i hate raiding” issue. I like hard content, but not raiding. I shouldn’t be forced to do it. I end up quitting this game only because i get to the point i realize i need to do mythic raid to keep gearing and just stop. Heroic is tedious and boring enough, i get burnout.
Yeah i agree the comp situation is a problem, but that is a different conversation.
what are you talking about? M+ is infinitely scaling, raid isn’t. You get mythic raid gear to then push M+ …or are you one of these that thinks you kill the last raid boss, get gear and then sit in org?
I could see blizzard adding m track loot to m+ runs in like the 0.5 patch of every season for like your first 15 of each dungeon each week, but now that they’ve clarified crafted gear will be equivalent to 5/6 Myth instead of 3/6 that it is on beta I think it’s fine.
But why wait so long? Why can’t we have equal standing to raiders if we get past a certain key level?
There’s literally no reason why not. A content wide bullion system based on difficulty, you can cap the bullion so players can’t double dip mythic raid/M+ to prevent degeneracy. They could even just wait until RWF is done since that’s all they care about.
M+ engagement seems to increase constantly and i see threads complaining about raid none stop. We don’t want to do it, i will happily play 8 dungeons none stop until the next season. Blizzard just needs to stop forcing us in to raid
Because the game’s already got enough ilvl creep at the start of patches with content tuned around what’s possible to obtain less what’s realistic.
You don’t want to have to raid, raiders don’t want to have to m+. Without an iron curtain between the two that’s pretty much impossible, however the saving grace is that m+ is about the end of the season since rewards are based on rating, meanwhile raids are a race with value placed on placement.
They can literally dictate the speed at which we get it. They have the data on which bosses are cleared in mythic raid/drops/everything.
They can trickle feed none raiders based on data from raiding. I’m not asking to be bis week 1, that’s lame. I’m not even asking for gearing at the exact same pace as mythic raiders, it is undoubtedly harder to Mythic raid. Just give us like a bullion every 2 weeks if we don’t raid…something. Anything
If you’re talking bullion, yeah but I don’t think bliz will ever do that because it creates situations where players are getting loot from something they haven’t done. The raid vault already won’t add bosses to the pool you haven’t killed.
One of the few things that still makes sense in this game is that the most difficult bosses inhabit raids. And they drop the most powerful items.
If you give in to all demands of M+ runners it is just a matter of time that raiding will really die. M+ got a lot of good changes in SL and DF and now they demand with such entitlement more and more and more. If anything, raiding needs to be incentivized.
Tier is something separate, since bliz now calls them class sets and acknowledges their role / acquisition from all forms of content through the catalyst. They’re not “raid loot” anymore, though I do agree they need better out of raid acquisition methods.
