would it be wrong to say that leaderboards score and IO Has an unfair advantage if you played a op spec that got nerfed.
Imagine a group with meta classes and they get nerfed later, score still remains the same, but the dmg they did in the run is no longer possible, how can one take wow seriouse at all.
and this game tries to be Esport, broken classes,Tier sets RNG, and underpowered classes.
Wow is a circus, i know for many its hard to understand what im trying to say, and i guess im sorry for my bad english.
Imagine a game that was actually tuned before it released, i know blizzard are using free testers, and those testers are normally from guilds that wanna find exploits that benefit them, but wouldnt it be nice to have actually paid testers who actually try to test if game is tuned correctly?
No amount of balancing would ever make it perfectly balanced at the top. People keep complaining about balancing but doesnât realise as long as we are playing different characters with different kits everything can never be balanced. Only games were perfect balance exists are games where everyone is playing the exact same kit with the exact same resources. You can complete all +20 with any class + high end other content but if you want to compete at the absolute highest level of course you have to play whatever has the 5% edge.
not my keys, my keys are trash atm, i got some 20s, but thats bad. i played bm and i had to learn a new spec and i lack tier bonus. im not in a spot where i can do ââdecentââ keys atm.
However there is ppl who are at a spot doing decent keys atm running comps that will be nerfed and i guess if u werent lucky or played the right class at that time, ur a loser.
I really despise this take, that it doesnât matter until you do content above X level. Thatâs not how any of this works. Maybe on paper it does, but in the game it doesnât.
âOh, but this only applies to you if you play top 100 CE.â
No, it affectâs any level of play, because people look at the meta, what high end players do and replicate it on lower difficulties. People are running MDI routes, tactics, doing RWF strats etc, even if they donât need it for their +10 key.
Sure, you can do +15 with any group setup, but people will still look at the meta and people who donât play FOTM specs are going to have a harder time.
Blizzard said that they do not plan to nerf any classes in the near future. As classes rarely get nerfed in mid season (and they are usually nerfed due to pvp), I donât think this should be a concern.
Most people that realy care about it just multi class anyway, one thing gets nerfed they already got another class redy to push higher .
Then there are those that stick to one even if its bad, and they either find a way how it works , or they dont and are stuck at some âmaximumâ for rest of season , or minimal push because of overal ilvl and better stats etcâŠ
they already doing it, did u see the druid tank nerf? i the tier parts. having beartank with 4p atm, is like having a extra dps in grp but his not the dps his the tank!!!
We knew about the set nerfs for a few days now, but the official blue post came with the buffs. When they announced the druid nerf was when they wonât nerf more classes.
At least that is what I remember, my memory is not exactly perfect.
Seems like in the previous season BM was the 2nd most picked ranged spec. https://raider.io/mythic-plus-rankings/season-sl-2-post-915/all/world/leaderboards#role=ranged-dps:mode=unique:minMythicLevel=20:maxMythicLevel=9
And in the current season they seems to be pretty sought after as well. But sure, BM is bad. https://raider.io/mythic-plus-rankings/season-sl-3/all/world/leaderboards#role=ranged-dps:mode=unique:minMythicLevel=15:maxMythicLevel=99
