THIS MOUNT IS AWESOME!.
Absolutely awesome. One of the best mounts you have created in a long time and i cannot wait to see it fly, its pretty, its adorable, its strong, it works well with transmogs

That being said.
I HATE IT.
Seriously Blizzard.
I hate this mount so much. This is evil.
I wish you would put more effort into 9.1 as you did in that mount. The love and attention of detail is amazing.

I hate this mount, and i will use it for the forseeable future!.
Take this stuff out of the shop and make it a reward ingame!

There are some really amazing mounts in 9.1 outside of the shop as well like the fun hand one’s :slight_smile:

well. At least mythic raid mount which is the highest level of PVE achievement mount, also received the same level of attention. Thus, showcasing how they care about one of the most sought after items from playing the game.

Oh wait. It’s a recoloured TBC mount with slightly more pixels.

Nevermind.

I tried it out in Orgrimmar and it is a beautiful flying mount, they’ve done well with this one :smiley:

For ppl like me who buying 6mt. sub it’s a free gift. I would buy 6mt sub anyway because is a cheapest option for real money.

Btw. Animation when you push jump without moving is amazing.

Not gonna lie, it’s a major kick in the man/woman parts to see the unique and new stuff being put behind a “paywall” like that. Sure, Shadowlands has given us a butt-ton of new mounts, but most of them are simple recolours of each other. I might be in the minority, but I’d much rather have 5 unique and good-looking mounts than 20 generic ones.

The maw mount is unique and looks fairly simple to get your hands on in comparison to the 10 hr spawn of that other one people are camping

Honestly, the worst part for me is, while I like dragonhawks, a lot, they’re just way too big.

Why do mounts have to be the size of Gruul after growing for several thousands of years?

I’d love to walk through a door while in a mount, rather than have to manually dismount before even attempting to walk through them.

Make mounts small again.

Not to mention from my experience, if the mount is bigger than your characters race. It also runs alot slower, i have really dislike that for a very long time.

It makes sense in some way for Sylvanas’ “mount” to be a dragonhawk in some way, but my god I refuse to believe they couldn’t have made it look more interesting or unique in some way. I mean, the dreadsteed you received as a warlock back in Legion was also just a “recolour” of the original one, but it felt and looked way cooler and unique.

The mount shows the artist’s love for the community and the game.

Patch 9.1 and putting the mount on the Shop instead of in the game shows the lead developers’ love for the community and the game.

Take from that what you will :blush:

I read a few days ago that a couple of days every year, the artists of WoW are given a chance to create whatever they want and to explore new ideas, which is where our lovely sloth pet comes from. I’d not be surprised if half of the mounts we see being given out as gametime rewards also originate from that.

I wouldn’t be surprised either. Mind you though many of the Blizzard developers and artists are INCREDIBLY underpaid.

I imagine something like “Okay artists! Welcome to our quarterly shop mount contest! Create the coolest mount design and the artist of the mount that we pick for the shop gets to pay their rent this month.”
