It’s too…clinical for my liking. Warcraft has always had a distinct and exaggerated style so it’d be nice to have the option to go with a more stylised variant.
How often are you people spending time in your spell book?
Every time I level an alt I spend a lot of time in my spellbook trying to figure out how the spec plays (they rework them every patch)
I think this module is a straight upgrade from the previous with its easy to understand appearance. Also I don’t know how much time you guys spend in there but after a certain point I don’t really use it unless I am playing something new then I use it and understand the spells within maybe a day and then I don’t use it again.
What class do you play that changes every patch, I rarely see one that gets even remotely major changes two patches in a row, exceptions being new classes, those are reddone every patch it feels.
This spellbook is a piece of $hit, like the new flight system. Old ones were way better, blizzard should have touched their a$$ instead of change everything.
Can someone explain why on an ultra wide resolution with UI scaling set to the lowest amount, this still covers 80% of my screen…
it completely breaks functionality if I have to QUICKLY grab a spell from my spell book cause of either macro malfunction or a spell not being on my bars.
How?
ok found a minimize button,
now it covers a full 3th of the screen, if someone has a QoL addon that turns this into a concise list without the massive icons it be much appreciated.
There is a little ‘make smaller’ arrow in the top right next to the x. This makes it half a page instead of a whole page.
That was just standard placement but I do use an addon that allows me to freely move the menus around as if it was in windows, I highly recommend with these big menus, but also just in general. If the oversized menu is still covering your bars after halving it, at least you can drag it to the side.
There has been lots of feedback about the big size, I am hoping they’ll make it resizeable.
I did see someone mention an addon before but I’ll have to dig through all the threads.
This was my main problem with it too. Yes, it’s far too big, but covering the action bars is the opposite of what’s needed from a spell book.
Oh it was my post
but also
or if you are feeling brave
its crazy for me that in 2024 without an addon you cant resize windows. the talent the spellbook is too big! i cant use my macro window and spell book at the same time. and i dont want to scale everything only this window
