Today I started with LFR solo queue for The Nighthold to get my Druid transmog together.
Did the first part (Arcing Aqueducts), ez, no problem.
Started with the second part (Royal Athenaeum), killed Spellblade Aluriel and free’d Ly’leth Lunastre. After that, -being there for the first time- it was a hell of a maze to find the next boss: Star Augur Etraeus.
Killed him, also no problem. But then I got stuck, I somehow don’t know how to continue to High Botanist Tel’arn, the last boss of the wing.
All doors seem to be locked and I simply can not find how to unlock these… I quit, and tried again this evening.
Skipped Spellblade Aluriel in the first place, couldn’t continue, so I killed Spellblade Aluriel, free’d Ly’leth Lunastre and got stuck again…
Somehow the door to Star Augur Etraeus seemed to be locked =\
Do I first need to complete the first wing in order to succesfully continue to the next wing every time??
Or am I doing something wrong in the second wing, Royal Athenaeum?
I can’t seem to find any guides/video’s on how to navigate through the Nighthold.
Please help me out, as I seem to be a complete retard.
No point freeing Lyleth. It’s a pretty simple route (or should be);
Kill Aluriel.
Go west on the map, up the stairs and turn left at the junction to find the Augur.
Go back downstairs and head out the west door (a straight line from Aluriel) and you’ll end up in the gardens.
Shouldn’t be difficult to navigate each wing but I can understand a first time can be a wee bit confusing. In a nutshell;
1st wing: Linear.
2nd wing: Above.
3rd wing: Starts east in the top of the building, goes around the side to the North, then finishes from the teleporter in the middle south from 2nd boss.
4th wing: Just gul’dan.
Each LFR wing is its own entity. They all let you queue for them regardless of completing the previous ones.
Almost went crazy when I followed your instructions on going WEST (Captain’s Quarters) and got stuck again.
But I guess you meant EAST (Astromancer’s Rise), needed to kill some NPC’s inside the building, then a door went open to get up the stairs to Augur.
After killing Augur and came down the stairs I immediately went right again and reached the gardens.
