You are pathological liar /Fact.
They don’t care if I am a liar or not. They only care about a hopefully flawless performance, which I deliver as the tank of the group.
So only Delvers can be bad in m+ or what?
By your logic as long as he is bad and wears delv gear he is a delver
Of course it is Blizzard, since they decided to end the Delve progression sooner than that of M+
Before release during beta I had heard that delves would reach the same rewards as M+ if one goes high enough
Anyone can be bad at m+ obviously. I have had people in full PvP gear in my m+ dungeons who totally owned and others who failed miserably. It just happens so rarely that it’s not even worth mentioning.
When you play a lot of m+ and look at the bad players after your run, they are most often delvers, because they have no other choice than to do m+ if they want better gear. They can’t do raids, because they would get kicked out of every raid immediately when they don’t know what they are doing.
Well then the solution is quite obvious.
Make better gear for higher delv levels. That way no delver would need to invade mythic. I mean blitz said it’s an endgame pillar.
I would prefer a system that encourages delvers or other players to learn the mythic+ dungeons at a reasonable difficulty level instead of luring them directly into +8s for the loot alone. I wonder how Blizzard will climb out of this hole they dug for themselves. This issue really didn’t seem to be on their radar when they invented delves.
I think there are really only two ways to deal with that.
Either they force every player to do the lower brackets to have access to the higher keys or they give even better loot to delve so people don’t feel the need to do m+.
I don’t know which one would be the best I am quite happy with delvs ATM and I don’t know if we need even better gear from them. Can we like outgear delve by only doing delves?
finally, someone is asking the right questions.
The answer is no, you don’t. Delves are not meant to be endgame content, and until they are, it’s off the table to discuss further upgrades. You are currently locked on heroic content, it’s a lot already for something such effortless as a current Delve is.
In your gear I’m sure delves are ez as pie.
In mine the t11 delves require planning and waiting on cd’s.
Which I’m totally fine with btw.
But for me with my gear it’s not exactly easy mode.
It’s an easy fix. Remove keys from M+ and make it a system exactly like delves, just pick a level and go. No depletion, no +/++/+++ as you have to do each level to get to the next.
The massive upside being is that you can just retry any key any number of times. All the bad players that coast on being “keyholders” will get filtered out. Kicked by players that can see how poor they are.
This would solve delvers going to M+ as everyone starts at +2 and has to do each level
Similar to Torghast then - yeah, I’d be up for that change
Actually a good idea, this doesnt affect anyone negatively, a win win for all.
Wonder how the delver community will respond though, it will take longer time to see delver in +8 but the delver will come more prepared.
T8s are trivial in your gear, and vault+bounties you can upgrade pretty quickly doing delves only,. nothing extra to be gained from doing t11 or zekvir?? other then achievment/title
Why do people run M+ above 10 then?
Nothing to be gained
But wasn’t it blitz that called delves an endgame pillar?
I mean I could be wrong about that but I’m pretty sure that’s what they said. And what are the premises for you to say “yep that’s an endgame pillar”
Is it because it’s not as hard as m+? Who decides stuff like that?
It would only change the boosting offers, with people having to pay for boosts up to and including 10s instead of just 10s. So if your problem is boosted people ruining your keys it wouldn’t change that.
If you blindly invite people in your groups, you would still encounter some boosted ones.
So let people that want to get boosted, get boosted and invite people that have a reasonable key history if you care so much about not timing some low keys here and there.
No because you just kick the bad players after the first pull. Be boosted all you want, if you’re bad you’re gone
I like your thinking. Your idea has some potential downsides, but they are negligible compared to the upsides.
I have always been against the idea of keys. You should always have been able to freely choose the dungeon and the difficulty. If a group wants to keep trying a specific dungeon on a specific difficulty, I don’t see a reason why they shouldn’t be able to do that. That’s literally what you do in any other game. You try again.
So basically not just a system that requires the previous levels but also a no depletion system.
Or basically only a no depletion system. It can save some time but would probably need to adjust the rewards a bit since the risk taking would be much lower.
