Darkglare Medallion tanking is the most fun I have had tanking in the entirety of WoW´s long history. The legendary works by having a 40 % chance to instantly reset the cooldown of Fel devastation. This could lead to casting a lot of Fel devastation in a row of Fel devastation in a row, if luck was on your side. Together with the tier set reducing the CD of Fel devastation and Immolate the gameplay was a lot of fun.

I do get why it was removed, in the end WoW is designed around being a competitive game, and having a talent being so RnG could never work with Blizzard´s design philosophy. I mean, sure the design philosophy has been killing the game post-Legion, but in the end Blizzard owns the game, and decides what philosophy to pursue.

If you love tanking, try out VdH for the next 2 months, by far one of the most fun specs. The legendary is easy to acquire and most legendary prices are by now very low.

I do not get why they removed it. It just needed toning down some or capping.

I had this same exact feeling about Twilight Dev - the last time I actually enjoyed tanking. Those beams let me do a ton of DPS and was just satisfying to see entire packs melt.

Rlly are you serious? Look my healing legendary isnt also there ‘Flash Concentration’ i loved it and most people hated it. Do i now need to say they take off my fun? NO simple no.

Iirc it was salt from dps that got outdmged by tanks , and something along the way " we dont wanna tanks to be dps " meanwhile, thats exactly where we are , u gear for dps, u play for dps, as a tank u do everything to max out dps , so yea, worked nicely

They really destroyed our class.
I’m so sad.

Meta is irrelevant now with such a short up time.
You’re forced to take certain talents as some are just better than others, some talents path also forces us to take undesirable talents.
Fiery brand is now useless as well.

Meanwhile prot paladin gets a bres.
Havoc isn’t looking too good neither.

Also darkglare boon is kind of pointless currently though.

Razelikh’s Defilement and if you have 4 piece tier set.
Then that combined with elysian decree is much more effecient.
