The nonsense that keeps going

Adding random effect into an ability.
NEW Punishment

  • Successfully interrupting an enemy with Rebuke casts Templar’s Verdict

They will probably add X 0.5 Modifier to that in PvP. No way it will do a full damage 3 power spender every 15 seconds. It’s completely out of line with other classes interrupts, which give either + some runic power, + some 5% damage for a few seconds, etc. Etc.

It will probably be nice for M+, a nice rewad for doing the mechanics.

I swear they are constantly ruining the skillcap of anything by adding so much crap like this.

It’s already insane that most thing rn is like you press a button and a passive proc and hit really hard or a passive heal something while not even use a gcd for it etc…

Seems like they want to design the game for either very young player (like idk 5y old) or for people with mental issue.

All the game need is bringing back the awareness, make every spec harder so you have to master the spec to perform well (so no more fotm reroll every week and roflstomp people on a spec you got no clue with) and remove all passive wall/self heal /random proc dmg etc…

They should add:

  • If the interrupt fails to stop a cast, the retri paladin gets hit instead by the Templar’s Verdict damage.

Bear in mind with the other talents that Ret will have available, they also will heal themselves for 100% of the damage dealt by Templars Verdict.

Other neat things are stuff like instant Flash of Light with 50% increased power, but a 6 sec cd, and a free WoG on yourself every minute if you drop below 40%.

Ret has the potential to become hella tanky and just heal against your damage as a caster. :cat:

so the SL ret/war nonsense is back? good to not play pvp anymore.

Wdym random? Its quite a specific effect. Effect of doing damage for a seccessful interrupt. By this logic counterspell shouldn’t have increased duration if hits a cast, what kind of random effect is it?

Lets not jump to conclusion based on datamined spells. And lets not forget then no metter what they do to ret it will never be on the same as rogue. The acceptable level for any class power level is 0.75-0.85 of rogue (0.9-0.95 for mages). Wow community physically tought to reject anything what can be as strong as mages and rogues.

In other words even if everything you mentioned goes live its would be unacceptable level, almost mage level and it gonna be nerfed very quicly: no need to worry too much :sunglasses:
