Garrosh was 10 times the warchief Thrall could ever be when it comes to Hordeâs idealism. Thrall is a pathetic, misguided fool who believes in peace, love and kisses. Under his leadership the Horde was stagnant, festering in their own filthâŚ, uncivilized, undeveloped primitives, aside from blood elves and forsaken.
The true Hordeâs spirit could be found during Garroshâs reign in Cataclysm and Grommash on Draenor during Warlords.
ThrallâŚa former shaman, a human raised pacifist never embodied the true Hordeâs soul, the soul that makes Horde bad@ss(or used to) , a force to be reckoned with and feared.
Sylvanas isnât it either, she is lacking, but having someone like Garrosh, someone who goes to war for the pleasure of it, is the kind of Horde i have always adored.

I think you are confusing Gulâdans horde with Thralls Horde.
The Horde we currently play was founded by Thrall. It is his idealism that the Horde was built upon.
The Hordes fall from that path began with Garrosh.

Yes the basis of Warcraft had always been orcs vs humans. But that was an RTS; a game thatâs made for that sort of thing.
An mmorpg is an ever evolving setting with a story continuously pushing forward. If thereâs to be the tiniest bit of realism in this world, things do not stay the same.
The characters in WoW have found, through their experiences, that thereâs much more dangerous things out there. And much more important things to worry about than a petty fued between two factions that basically want the same thing.
Thatâs why I was so bummed when they announced that BfA would be âgoing back to the faction warâ because itâs just not realistic anymore. Not with what the characters all know and have done.
In a more realistic world the horde and alliance would have peace. Maybe un uneasy one; sure. But peace nontheless.
The planet itself is in danger. Whatâs more important? Petty fueds or the very existence of the world itself?
Well the no potential part comes from blizzards writers who constantly love writing boring cliche human white knight to the rescue stories. Same goes to the horde with constant orc story lines.
There is so much more potential for awesome fun and different stories with other races but we constantly are given the same boring orcs vs humans crap.
I have to give one thing atleast Sylvanas did something different but again she is being written as Garrosh 2.0 with same script because of power of laziness.
The entire wowâs main story line is boring to me its so played out and so repetitive that sometimes i wonder how anybody find it interesting anymore to me the best stories are the small short ones from questing to level cap but the main line in Bfa especially is just boring and maybe the most forgettable that we have ever had.
Also if there would have been a third faction it should have been Twilights Hammer their endgame goal was simple and elegant and i would have followed ChoâGall to hell and back.

I think the people who think Thrall is gonna be Pro Alliance have no insight to what Thrall really is.
Imo Thrallâs gonna come, Talk Sylvannas out of this / see her perspective then exile her or dethrone her, Take the lead and then it will be an actual honorable war with the Alliance from then on.
The horde is bound to go to war with the Alliance, until the two continents are mostly separated than there will be war.
People somehow are conveniently dismissing the fact that Saurfang is the one who orchestrated all this, the horde wanted this war, the only thing the horde didnât like is that the war wasnât Honorable, even baine himself didnât have any problems with it, they all know that this war is bound to happen and they wanted it, they just didnât want to kill civilians and murder helpless people.
There is a reason wow had WSG, AB and AV from vanilla.
The entire classic cinematic is dedicated to faction war, Most of the TBC cinematic is faction war.
And these faction wars are built upon the need for resources, Thrall has yet to come into contact with Azerite and Iâm preeeeeeety sure heâs not gonna go Okay lol letâs have the Alliance have the Azerite, itâs not like theyâre gonna weaponize it or something no theyâre gonna give it ALL to magni, as weâve seen in BFA.
That is unless blizzard decided that the Alliance is suddenly ok with the horde cuz the horde " lost sight of what they are loool "
Then weâll probably have some dungeon or quest chain were we fight with Tyrande/Malf and kill/stop/change their minds/the horde are good guys now we promise! them.
