The pre-purchase goodies for War Within

so i bought the epic edition War Within expansion on my WoW#2, and i was wondering if i have to buy the epic edition on my WoW#1 aswell to get the beta access and 3 days early access to war within on that account aswell. Because its written where you select the product that it will not be regranted if they are previously unlocked on the battle net account. Or does that mean only my WoW#2 account will be eligible for the beta and early access? Created two tickets about this and got the same auto generated reply both times, atleast felt like an automated reply. Which by the way solved nothing, hoping someone in the community can help me with this.

Beta access wouldn’t matter whether you had access on wow 1 and 2 it’s just beta access.

I would presume the early access is per wow account because expansions works that way. No matter what I have on wow 1, wow 2 does not get that expansion unless I buy it again.

it’s bnet wide. so all your accounts. I speak from experiance. Used 3 accounts on same bnet for a decade now. You don’t actually log your normal accounts, you pick beta on the drop down menu. So you have same amount of access as everyone else.

But they have stopped things like character boosts from buying expansions being shared at bnet level, so it’s not quite so cut and dry with the early access.

But it clearly says that rewards that has been granted wont be regranted, so if only my WoW 2 account has the early access it looks like i wont get it for my WoW 1 if i buy Epic edition for that one aswell. I have to buy the expansion for my WoW 1 too obviously, but its no use to buy the epic edition if i wont get what i pay for on that account, then i might aswell just buy the basic edition.

It says items will not be regranted including currency as per the example. It mentions nothing about early access will be granted battle net wide.

  • Upgrading to the Heroic or Epic Edition will not re-grant in-game items previously unlocked on your account. Trader’s Tender is granted only once per Battle.net® account and region upon first purchase of each edition, at a maximum of 1000 Tender from Epic.

But we can’t do more than guess tbh, educated or otherwise.

much better to make a support ticket and ask to be 100 percent sure

i have done this, twice and the reply i got on both tickets were as follows:

"Greetings,

that is a very weird reply tbh from support team .

yeah, thats what i thought aswell, and my question was exactly the same as i put it in this thread. and then i thought maybe i get more answers through the forum, which i actually do :stuck_out_tongue:

You could edit your opening post and move it to Customer Service forum to see if you can get a blue response there to clarify.

Yeah thats a good idea, ill give that a shot

Ah, an automated classic.
Blizzard’s customer support went down the drain.

Just to include the confirmed blue post.

In case this comes up on anyone else’s search results.

When this game has races to world firsts this offering of early access to the game for in real life money is a slap in the face to those who take those races seriously. Already regretting subbing again. Blizzards underhand tactics are here to stay. Pay us and get early access. 6 years for some digital pixels. You people are seriously out of touch with the player base because you are used to making the player base peck at buttons in your skinner box experiments. Since people are doing it you rae coming up with increasingly punishing and punitive ways to hassle the player. Sick dev’s. Seri0ously. They are sick.

people who are serious about world first thingies dont have a problem spending money on their favorite game as they are already pretty heavily invested in the game .

Didn’t they remove the realm first achievements some time ago?

In the world of WoW it is still a “ive got a bigger one than you do” situation.
