The Primal Focus problem

Hi everyone. As we get more and more gear from m+ and raids, the crafting gear with Primal Focus material will not be needed for anything. Soon we will start to swim in Primal Focus and I was wondering why we can’t just send them to alts? This will be a great catch up crafting gear for alts.

Well eventually you will through the 10-15 phase and be earning Concentrated Primal Infusions instead.

I’m earning Concentrated Primal Infusions. The question is what to do with the normal ones?

Nothing, like with bunch of other stuff .

Artisan mettle is useles to me , primal chaos also. Expedition supply? Useles…

It would be nice if they can be sent to alts, or used as a currency.

For example they can add a vendor so that those can be used as bad luck protection for when Sparks become available as a random drop. So you can use X amount to buy a spark. So that if after many M+ you don’t get any spark drop, you can at least convert the unneeded primal focus to a spark.

They could also be used as a currency to buy primal chaos, artisan mettle, etc.

Yes but what for another sparks ? I pretty much need like 1 more , maybe two if im reaaaly unlucky.

You can “sell” the sparks to crafters who need skillpoints

How? Or can you send them to your alts?

You just write it in chat… crafter pays you for ordering something from them and then you sell the item to the vendor.

You don’t do anything with them

Concentrated Primal Infusions are already useless too

But soon in 10.0.5 you can farm Sparks and craft off-spec gear
so at least then they will have a purpose for another 2 or 3 pieces.

Spark seller will lvl up alt to 70, will do all quest chain unlocks sparks, the worst part of it, will farm 30 primal chaos for each spark (have 4 of them) and after all that, crafter will craft basic item to lvl a single crafting plan to R5 (most likely it will be a weapon or lariat).

Spark seller will request excessive amount of gold for this. At least this is not something to do for 200 or 300k. If the crafter isn’t crafting for a large group of people on R5 for progress, likewise for a guild, it doesn’t worths.

On the other hand, solo players can make good amount of gold by this way but it is very hard to find a customer that will make such purchase and at the end of the day solo player won’t play the game but will work for those who will.

But still very interresting method of trading.
