Well, that would be silly if it was a prize you won in a tv show…but its not a car its a sentient brain creature whose speed boost only occurs when fellow hive members join together.
I think thats pretty cool personally.

What should they lock behind it instead? There’s hundreds of mounts that don’t require group content.

So you can only ever ride this mount with someone else if you got it together? That’s freaking dumb. I mean it’s fine to use the speed boost that way I suppose, but this means it’ll be pointless to pug it, which a lot of people already have.

They could just remove the group requirement on the last part of the quest. Easy.

Please. Dont make me laugh. Nobody says a word to each other in dungeons. Nobody says a work in world chat. Nobody says anything at all in cities.
Thsi game is only a MMO cos there are people playing this. But for most intents and purposes it is a solo game.
Everytime i hear this game called an MMO i laugh my rear end off. This game is gonna have AI bots in dungeons soon. Mark my words.
It is gettign so bad that now they are forcing group content on people like the now HC requirement for the KT story arc ending, dungeons for proffs even though by the time you can use teh stuff nobody in their right mind would as it is a downgrade.

It’s no where near harsh, it’s very apt and is excellent design.
They could do a single player puzzle. With a mount reward which turns the player into a single slithering tentacle and call it “The Wonwy Mind”.
So there shouldn’t be anything exclusive to group content in an MMO? Not even 1 out of hundreds of mounts?
I think it’s equally easy to go for one of those mounts that don’t require group content, probably easier

Yep, far too many lazy entitled wowers whom wants everything served on a silver plate. If you want something, work for it.
I have no problem this being locked behind group content, it’s a multi person mount after all, but I do have a problem with not being able to let anyone ride it, with only being able to let the people I originally grouped with ride it

Happy to work for stuff and not once has anyone in this thread said they want it on a silver platter, so stop putting words in people’s mou… posts.
I just don’t like forced grouping.

I have been told anyone can mount the hivemind, a guildie of mine has tried it out.
I don’t think I’ll ever get it though, I tried the vashj’ir stuff and my items expired because I was too slow. It’s ugly anyway and looks almost the same as the phantom dweller so I’ll just hivemind under water 
I cannot agree with you, plenty saying they dont like it being locked behind multiplayer content. man up and do it, elsewise you dont deserve it.
So people have been complaining about the lack of group content, yet here is a great questline that involves a group and now people are all upset about it. You can easily get your guildies to go with you on this quest or not do it at all.

Theres been plenty of solo content in the past, such as the mage tower. Wow is not an online singleplayer game.
I don’t mind it that much that it’s locked behind group content, but the restriction that only the people you grouped with can ride it for speed buff is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I have quite a lot of friends in WoW but I never play with them all together at the same time, some are horde some alliance and most of them don’t know each other. So dumb, thanks Blizz.
