I have been playing Survival Hunter since Cataclysm, and it’s always been the most fun PVP spec for me. I’ve never complained, even though I was quite disappointed after it was made melee - but it was still fun.
However, now it just feels unplayable at PVP. Why did you transform one of the most PVP spec into a M+ one?
Let me quote the best Survival Hunter in the world:
“Survival feels bad to play due to the lack of agency you have when it comes to dealing damage. Everything is either conditional in the sense that Explosive Shot/Kill Shot can only do their damage randomly + is AoE so you can’t have them do damage whenever you want to. Or that all of your single target damage is artificially nerfed due to the existence of talents which makes them AoE.
An easy fix would be to nerf the damage of your random Explosive Shot proc from Wildfire Bomb. And increase the damage done to the Primary Target to Mongoose Bite, Flanking Strike, Serpent Sting, Kill Shot and Explosive Shot.
Another experimental fix would be to give us more on demand damage by buffing Fury of the Eagle in PvP and giving it the Season 3 tier-bonus effect with the help of some talent points (would have to drop Spearhead for it).
Since on demand damage is something Survival desperately needs.”
