This is the dumbest post I’ve read today. Someone ask for something reasonable “these kids today, you give them an inch and they will ask for everything!!!”… All Blizzard has to do is what they have done before lots of times, pre-warning for spawns.
They already have zonewide messages when it spawns, they can either make it untargetable for a while or use the message as a pre-emptive warning that it’s going to spawn. It’s not good for people to see the rare spawn and it’s dead 5 seconds later, which really is the case with some of them.
Because the alternative is people just spawn camping the one they need, garbage gameplay.
One minute would be fine, but I agree with the general idea. It isn’t so bad at quiet times (as long as you can get a group), but at peak time the rares die so quickly that you need to be almost on top of them to have a chance of even tagging before they die.
No, it will be dead if you’re at the far end of the zone, which is fair enough. The respawn rates on the rares are too fast for you to be there for every one the first time it spawns. It’s perfectly reasonable to expect to do one half of the zone and then the other half. Even in a small zone like Korthia, it isn’t reasonable to expect to get all of them when people are pulling rares in opposite ends of the zone at the same time. You can’t be there for every kill.
Stop chasing after every single rare that spawns and focus on the ones closest to you. That’s what I do, and I get quite a lot - did the 3-daily quest on 3 characters yesterday evening, most of it from killing rares, and in between running mythic plus.
I’m killing those that spawn close. They need to add a 2-3 min delay on being able to kill them because it’s just ridiculous how fast they die.
The one I got a kill on there was like 40+ people there, I only got a kill on it because it pretty much spawned on top of me. If I had been like 80 yards away, it likely would have been dead before I even got to hit it because it just exploded.
The rare spawn so fast in the zone, just running around will get you to be the first to a rare in majority of cases, don’t expect to sit still in the quest hub and expect to get every rare. Actually go out there and explore and you won’t ever have a rare issue.
If it takes 2 minutes to get there you were to far away. No idea about your example since i dont know the names of the areas and no idea where that rare spawns.
