Hey guys, I have a question to all those who play on servers that have already undergone the realm merge maintenance. How long did it really last? In the Launcher it says 21:00 CEST - 5:00 CEST, but we all know the maintenances always take less time then what Blizzard tells us. So yeah, the question is, how long did it last on your servers? Maybe shorter than this long time (21-5 CEST)?
What realm are you on?
I’m Aerie Peak so are you a new neighbour or current? 
It all depends on if they hit “issues” I think. Think they are usually back on before 1am but don’t quote me.
@Bollofkewk: The time has been rather highly variable. If the information I have seen is accurate, at least one previous German connection massively overblew the time limit and lasted almost 15 hours. I do not have an exact time for lower end, but it is likely that affected realms are offline at least 3 hours and very probably longer.
@Nefaryas: I have one alt on Aerie Peak, too. 
Not always, there were times (even in bfa), when the maintenance took longer.
They’re back on. After 3 hours, at least my server (Eonar)
