What the actual flying kazzoing fudge? Is this a sick joke? You eliminate all risk versus reward from priest, and only priest. No other class gets set bonuses that give them everything their entire class can access in one specc. Why are priests allowed to do and access everything their class has to offer in one build? What is this disgusting priest bias the SoD dev team has?

Why does priest have to ruin every single phase this way? What the hell is going on? Lmfao. If this actually makes it to live I’ll delete all my chars and uninstall this game. This will make every other class unplayable vs shadow priest.

Yes. It is pretty clear that different persons designing the classes. This would not be a problem, if there would an unified vision how strong classes should be. But it seems there is no enforced vision, while locks, rogues , warriors are getting small incremental damage gains and shamans, priests are utter insanity.

uninstall and delete your chracs no one cares the company wont regerd losing 1 player instead losing thousded of players for onee player dont like the sets.

Warlock was up there with Hunter being one of the most played classes in SoD
Look at the class balance of the most populated servers. Aside from Paladin and Shaman, which are obviously faction bound so you can’t compare them to the rest, Warlock is the least played class in SoD now.

Aight, let’s face it without emotions for PvP:

(2) and (4) are the same like other class sets

(6 - SW:P) So the duration would be 34 seconds instead of 24 seconds. A little weird because the dot ticks every 3 seconds. The question is if it will be 3 additional ticks or 4. It highly depends on how much health we will have and if we finally get better water/food. In a 1v1 this doesn’t make much of a difference. It’s more annoying in BGs, events, or if someone is just passing a priest and gets dots. Also annoying for rogues for sure but maybe they get Cloak of Shadows. The dot doesn’t need to be refreshed as often but how many time does a priest really need to refresh a 24 seconds dot? Fights are not that long actually. Don’t know if fight duration will increase in later phases.

(6 - SW:D) This is a buff and a nerf. 1. we don’t get damage and 2. we don’t get damage. We can use it on cooldown but it’s real power is to get out of cc with it. With Vampiric Embrace on a target the damage we take is already only at 20%. So imo this is more a nerf than a buff.

(8) Now this is an interesting one. What does really change? We don’t have to leave Shadowform anymore. Ok. So we save 1 global cooldown to get back into Shadowform if we have to use holy spells. In that time we lose 15% physical damage reduction and we lose the 15% shadow damage. Not being forced to switch forms would lead to a lot more use for healing and curing diseases. We would be able to use Holy Nova. We can use holy runes while dps’ing but lose dps runes. We would heal party members more often. Enemies would probably be forced to counterspell holy rather than shadow. We would have Renew up all the time, plus Vampiric Embrace 30% life leech.

Personally, I would love to test this. Would be new to shadow priests to be able to do that since it is the Season of Discovery. BUT every other class would need similar buffs.

Mage 8 set - instant-cast every 20 seconds any spell you want
Warlock 8 set -get free shart in the face
