I did play San Andreas on my Playstation back whenever it launced. I made it 4% into the game. Then I het a quest to ride a motorbike after a car whilst a guy on the bike shot at the car driver. I couldn’t manage it. Couldn’t find a cheat code that would help. That was the end of my GTA adventures that dated back to the original top down view game.
Here I am years later unable to do the last boss in Dawnbreaker for essentially the same reason, not able to dragon ride after a ship to get to the boss after they run away.
Yes, and I especially hate it if ppl keep hitting you despite the other one not having attacked them or fighting back. I’ve later switchwd to a PvE server and am very glad Warmode is not needed to do certain open world content, but it would be nice if all rewards in WoW could be achieved through PvE instead of PvP… which is why I hate the concept of Plunderstorm giving retail rewards through collecting stuff / treasures (which could be a nice PvE experience) but in a horrible PvP environment.
Just activate steady flight in the dungeon, I always do that, makes the whole dungeon way more chilled as you can also hover above mob groups and wait for teammates before jumping into the next fight; and landing on the small boats in the beginning is less buggy.
I had that on.
I just couldn’t see the ship to follow. And even if I could I likely wouldn’t follow it well enough. I read on wowhead it was just about possible to follow in steady flight. “just about” is not how I do things.
You need to follow the boss, not the ship and there spawn yellow orbs along the way you need to collect to get a buff that prevents you from dying… and its easily possible to do in steady flight. You can also just collect one orb and then fly directly to the point where the bossfight will happen instead of following it flying around.
Well, guess Plunderstorm will be less of a pain in the… for me than for you, guessing by your Dawnbreaker experiences, to that’s something.
Plunderstorms won’t be a pain the anything as I won’t be doing them.
Hopefully they con’t change the format any. If they change it so you have some time at the start to do some objectives before the mano a mano stuff happens then I might have to actually contemplate giving it a go. Likely they won’t do that and save me the hassle…
Well, they would not only save you the hassle but a lot of other ppl including me, so we could still hope. I still think the annonced training mode has some potential to be turned into a PvE version of the game mode.
