If she comes back, the danger is that we get a very similar and repetitive story to TWW thematically in case sire denathrius returns too, because he’s still alive as well.

She was charachter assassinated so bad that i doubt they can ever bring her back.
The uproar would be too high of people who hate her too.
For me she used to be best charachter in warcraft history but i personally dont wanna see ranger general i wanna see the traumatized pragmatist from before bfa

What “Wonderful things” can weigh up against the downright terrible things she did before? (To both factions, the Night elves took the brunt of the damage from her actions, but the Horde was pulled into a costly and ultimately unnecessary war, too)
If the story dictates we welcome her back as if nothing happened, that would be the most ludicrous thing in the entire lore, and that includes “Draenor is free!”, and all of SL…

No one is saying you have to welcome her back but you also have to accept that others will welcome her back.
I have zero issue with her burning Darnassus. We were at war. However I now play with Night Elves and other members of the Alliance.
Needing the former Ranger General to aid in Silvermoon would be an appropriate time to bring her back.

she’s perhaps the most overrated character in the setting and bringing her back isn’t going to do much to sell people on her
those who liked her for being a dark and edgy character will see her heavily sanitised
those who dislike her for never actually paying for her huge list of crimes won’t see justice (many of those same acts deemed unforgivable when other characters have done the same thing)
the ‘best’ solution is that they’re bringing her back to bring her story full circle and having her die for real in the defense of quel’thalas, only this time she isn’t raised into undeath afterwards

Indeed many characters on both factions have done terrible things over the history of wow.
I mean that canonically, a handful of loyalists aside, everybody hates Sylvanas’ guts for what she did (Not just Darnassus, but starting a needless war at all) and on top of that, the reason she did it, what players want doesn’t really enter into it. (If it did, we’d have seen some more NPCs of Horde races around)
I doubt she’ll be much help defending Silvermoon, anyway, she failed when Arthas showed up, and her “Tactical expertise” consists of the writers dumbing her opponents down to crayon-eating level, so they fall for her obvious traps. (Plague in Undercity? OMG, GENIUS!)
