I’m aiming for the loremaster title, at the moment with 2 characters: this one and a lvl 82 dark iron dwarf.
I got a couple of questions:
which zone between outland and draenor (the two zones I almost skipped while leveling my main) you think is the most annoying for questing? for annoying I mean everlasting chainquests or things that require an unfair amount of time to be done with my non 120 character.
Could the soft foam sword work with a lvl 80 npc in northrend? I’m stuck at 4\11 chapter in icecrown. Same old story, there’s a mob to weaken and I just oneshot it. I’m completing storm peaks with my dwarf, and it would be very annoying to begin again the icecrown storyline.
ok, I was planning to complete vashjr with my main, use the twilight highlands to level my dwarf up to 90, then go to draenor. I’ll do outland with the nelf.
Outland will sure be the most “annoying” for anyone who isnt already familiar with the questing there.
Theres chains that start from items that mobs drop wich you’ll easily miss with the convenience of flying quest to quest
Use something like https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/completed-quests-checker
to see whats missing if your stuck
Theres also quests there wich will require items that might be not so easy (or cheap) to get depending on the server auction house and your professions
Definitely great lore there tho, and a nice old Wow feeling
yeah, I ran into such a situation in the last chapter of northern stranglethorn, with the raptor hatchling quest (be a raptor). To find it I had to do a quest that was not a part of the storyline. I was stuck for about an hour to figure it out, and I had to check both youtube and old forums topics.
So what would you suggest me for not losing the quests involving mobs drop? lootine every mob it’s fine, but also doing secondary quests? or something else?
nice one, I didn’t know its existance, I’ll surely check it in case, but I’m afraid that if I needed it, it would be too late.
The best way would probably be using a addon to help with the questing
I never tried it myself so cant really talk about it, but some people I know use “Wholly” and say its nice.
If you’d like to try it think you’ll also need “Grail” installed wich is a quest database addon
I have done whole lore master with Max lvl char so u can too. Low lvl is time consuming and annoying.
There is only one quest in ungoro crater where soft form sword won’t work. You have to use some engineering device to do 120 damage per sec to raptors.
@Goagrill my laptop can’t afford any other program while running wow, so I’ll do it old fashion, trying to pay attention to every mob I loot and , in case of problems, I’ll check the web and the site you linked me.
@Keyur Well, I’m getting bored to repeat everyday the same wq and bfa content, so if an expansion is pleasurable for questing (like wotlk zones, for instance) i enjoy myself, so no problems with it. I’ll see what will come with 8.2. Luckily I already did kalimdor loremaster.
How long did it take to you to get the achiev?
I would suggest first to level up to 120 and after that to start questing. Why? 2 reasons: you will have full fly speed unlocked (except Draenor&Legion (where u need achievment to unlock fly and BFA wich its achiev comes in 8.2) and that you can kill quest mobs in one shot (in zones bellow Legion). If you quest while leveling up, you will spend double if not triple time, but its your choice.
I finished full BFA storyline+all side quests+raidquests+campaign updated untill today ; full Legion storyline+side+raidquests; full Draenor storyline+side+raidquests and now i am progressing in Pandaria (finished 3 zones already). Time consumed for thoose quests i did was aprox. around 50-60h untill now (the longest one was BFA,due the fact that i couldnt kill mobs so easy like in the other zones and that Voldun has almost 300 side quests, around 30h).
I had only 2 issues: Draenor’s Nagrand storyline, the last quest in the chain was bugged, i couldnt kill the last boss, made a ticket and GM’s completed the quest. It was bugged in january 2019, dont know if they fixed it untill now. Second issue was with the starting quest from Pandaria (where u need to meet the NPC outside Ogrimar and take the boat to Pandaria). Same story, ticket, fixed.
