are we getting the rootlands next patch ?
just curious if we get to find out who the Guardian is and the roots of the world tree

I am in the dark… what are the Rootlands? Have they been mentioned in TWW?

jokes it was leaked months ago,

  • its a new zone where the harronir look after the roots of the world tree

  • if you go to ashkahet and fly up where the roots are you fall asleep, so i assume thats the entrance

I hoped we get more story about them in Season 3. Also new race.
Waned they can shaman class. Since Night elves cant.

It does feel weird that there isn’t much content tied to Harronir, nor the corrupted part of the Azj’Kahet zone where we enter the Unseeming if we reach 50 stacks of that debuff. It seems like one of those amazing ideas that were simply scrapped off mid-production, exactly like the Rift in Shadowlands.

harronir are clearly going to be druids most likely with native animals / spider forms

i hope they are shamans and priests

Im hoping we wont get harronir as a playable race, 'cause they’re ugly as heck.
I know i usually tend to play the uglier races, but this ones too much for me.

It makes sense that they have access to shamans as well, they are a tribal society.

Ugly? I think harroirs look pretty for me. I’ll say they are handsome than ugly.
Same trolls are handsome. :grin: It’s why I wanted get them player races.

I never say goblins are ugly. They still pretty.

Roots of the world three…Isn’t the teldrasill world three? Where are the debris of Darnassus?

Looking at earthen lore as to joining the factions and dracthyr as a whole I wouldn’t put my expectations high
From the game that cared so much every race got its own starting zone complete with whole narrative to one who doesnt care how they explain races joining factions, sadge man

Harronir were imo intended as an eventual but obvious new playable race from day 1

Honestly no more allied races pls, some of the ones existing could’ve been just skins(maghar and lfd specifically), waste of actually different races spots. Basically dont really like how they’ve been doing allied races in general, they’re just there.

But season 2 ends around August so expect more info in July or so.

As for the main topic, if 11.2 is really K’aresh and that’s the last major patch then I doubt they’d add a new zone. It would seem weird considering the focus Orweyna had in the marketing for TWW even though she’s already been a major help. Maybe sometime in the Worldsoul Saga, if not later.

I think people are more hoping for Ethereals to become a new playable race.

I hope never. That storyline is one of the most boring and nothing thing blizzard ever produced. Not to mention that the harronir looks disgusting. I really hope they forgot about them and we never hear from them again.
