The Rustfeather Guide: How To Be An Elitist

i only go there prepared with pots and food.

i call out the hero straight away and also tell them to use personal cds. i think thats very important to make it spawn more and increase the chance for us all by reducing the time to waste and let it alive.

if you cant fly there in time, you didnt want it enough is my rule on that hill!

So a noob that doesnt even has the mount, that means you are not a elitist , comes on forum to teach us how to be as.sholes.
This is the world we are living now: the world of individualism…

Fugly mount. Having jetpack is handy, but I won’t bother camping it for some mount.

Sometimes you just don’t want to wait 5-10 minutes for the whole zone to come to him to be able to kill him, especially if you have other stuff to do or rares to kill.

At the end of the day it’s your fault if you miss a kill because you weren’t there waiting for him but instead was doing something else.

If you want kill, camp it. Simple.

Yea what is that addon? Somebody know? I’d very much like to get it myself.

In their defense, It won’t drop the mount anyways.

So you’re basically losing the chance of getting some parts.

Blame the game not the players… crying little …

I want that addon, anyone knows what it is called?

Not only do you not want the mount enough to camp the spawnpoint, you also want others to camp FOR you, announce when the mob does spawn and then also WAIT for you to show up before killing it.

But no… that’s elitist according to you.

the only bit that gets me is the lack of saying in general that hes up … ive no problem with killing it at whatever speed, purely because the quicker you kill it the quicker it respawns and thus gives more people who actually wait at the spawn point to get a chance at it.
Its your fault for not being there when it spawns, or in the vicinity, not anyone elses.
Please, say when its up … that’s all im asking.

I don’t know if its elitism, or not giving a damn about anyone else … or, an idea postulated by a pal of mine, you increase the chances of you getting a drop if its just you at the kill. 20 quid says its the latter.
That’s how moronic some players are.

Selfish muppets?

Not even that, we are allowed to play however we want. If we decide to camp a spot for quite some time, why would we have to please the rest of the world? They could have done the same if it was that important.

But it is only important if it takes close to no time extra to whatever they were doing. But hey, if they notice you killed a rare before they reached you they are the first ones to whisper you with all insults out there.

Players who don’t announce a spawn are less selfish than players who think we play only to please them.

Speaking of Rustfeather, don’t want to create separate topic, so I’ll ask it here:

Does anybody has problems with his cooldown? Yesterday I’ve tried to kill him, and on second alt I’ve noticed he had no silver dragon frame, like i’ve killed him already. But I surely didn’t. Anybody faced the same problem? Is it a visual bug, an actual cooldown bug, or they’ve changed something?

THIS! If I wait for the spawn for 40 mins I’m not telling anyone on general so that they can just swoop in, tag it and collect the loot.

Haven’t happen to me yet. Always with silver dragon when loot isn’t locked.

Bro, you don’t kill an elite solo to deny the mount to other ppl, you do it because you can! :muscle:

Or just camp it like everyone else? There’s usually 15-20 people waiting there with me so it dies fast regardless. I’ve also been phased randomly several times, so I cba being the one camping it for 30-60 minutes, to then wait with killing it and phase out myself.

They can just give it a /yell like the robot spider rare for all I care, but don’t call the people that are actually putting in the effort of camping it ‘elitist’ lol.

I found a possible solution on US bugtracker. Possibly if you didn’t end Mechagon intro questline, you will not see its rares flagged as “rare” - they are shown as common mobs for you, without silver dragon icon.

Now the question is, does this somehow affects the drop. I really don’t want to waste my time repeating this intro with all of my alts =\

I think you’re the selfish self entitled one if you think others should slow down for you to get there.

They’re there, they’re ready, they got other stuff to do. Don’t want to miss it? Sit and wait at the respawn like the people you’re complaining about.

But that’s boring and you’d rather enjoy yourself and then be called over to collect your reward.
