Hey, so for people that don’t know in the Ny’alotha raid you need the legendary cloak to be able to fight the last 2 bosses else you get instantly mind controlled. Additionally, there is a sanity drain mechanic which is more important during the N’Zoth fight.
This is currently making pug groups that do attemps for the N’Zoth mythic mount near impossible as half the group doesn’t have the cloak and will leave / need to be kicked. But also the co-ordination required for the group to not become mind controlld in the N’Zoth fight is seemingly impossible to organise in a pug.
Can Blizzard make this raid easier to pug out by removing the Sanity drain and legendary cloak requirement? I don’t see why it would be an issue now as it’s no longer current content.
Also it would be nice to not have to spend 2 hours per toon going through the questline to obtain the cloak.
Hope so. Not typically a mount collector, but I love the mount from N’Zoth. Haven’t had a single successful pug kill Mythic N’Zoth the entire of Shadowlands
Usually Blizzard makes changes to raid mechanics two expansions later. I assume it is because for those who do not buy SL but still play the game BFA is the last expansion they have currently.
I hope the cloak will be removed as a requirement, but for the sanity as a mechanic, N’Zoth was designed with that in mind, so it won’t go away most likely. (It’s still in the game for Ulduar Yoggsaron, but does nothing there really.)
I believe it will be nerfed though, for the collectors’ sake, in DF maybe
In theory they should nerf BfA bosses to be solo friendly during Dragonflight, I just hope they don’t wait until the end of the expansion to do it though.
Yeah the Legion raids aren’t what I call trivial to solo, but everything can be done, you’ll want to be around ilevel 235+ for Antorus mythic depending on class. They never bothered fixing Odyn phase 1 though, so you have to try and seperate the adds there to lose the damage reduction. It’s a bit awkward to say the least.
I can solo Antorus on this character, but yeah it takes a full max gear set to do so. I think in season 4 when 270 gear becomes easy to obtain, all of the Legion content will finally become solo-able without much grind involved.
