Well above 15000 casts, which for me make this mount one of the rarest and i farmed mounts for years in wow, any one that actually got it that can confirm it can actually be fished in in-lake pools i Northrend (where i am fishing)
I had mine in 2013 original MoP from fishing pool in Krasarang jungle river. Less than 1000 fishes on new pandaren warrior back then.

I got mine during Wrath Classic while fishing between arena games back and forth along the southern coast of Northrend. I know I was in Dragonblight when I got it and I assume the cast was in a pool

One guy in my guild took part in the fishing contest on saturdays like 3 months ago. Fished the turtle AND won the contest - that was most possibly all the luck somebody can have^^.
