While I think the selfie camera is kinda boring to use, I kinda see it as a fun item to mock the time of selfies. I really like it that way. They should keep the original selfie animation! It’s the whole point of it!

I love that addon, I am a complete novice with it atm but I see some of the screenshots people put together on twitter, clearly can do all sorts.

The ONLY reason to use the selfie cam is because of the warped field of view, the funny expressions my character makes and seeing her arm holding the camera.
take those away, it is literally nothing.
If this is the way the game is going, I can’t see myself staying subscribed after I’ve done shadowlands story content.

Still going to miss the silly duck faces and the extended arm and angle.
I don’t use it so I wont miss it myself but I totally understand that others don’t want this feature to go.
Technically speaking it always has been a screenshot.
WoW’s screenshot features are pathetic. They need to spend more time on stuff like this.

I used to take only selfies of my chars when I was in a very lowstate in my life, back in 2017-start of 2018 and looking back on them I remember I enjoyed seeing my character laughing like a freaking goof in front of the camera. Only recently have I started to double down on my selfie camera use and I noticed while finally completing my Field Photographer achievement that instead of holding the camera with their arm outstreched, they stand in a really awkward position like they’re trying unsuccessfully hide the fact that they are holding the camera.
I want my characters to be goofy and hold the freaking camera I dun want them to turn it into just a useless way to do an Alt+Z screenshot
