What happened to the SIlver Hand after Legion? Did they just disperse or are they still beating?
The Ashbringer was such a huge part of the lore, I think it was a massive injustice to have it simply drained dry and thrown away after everything. That could have easily gone on to someone else, or even kept in its drained state until a way was found to repower it.
I always found these two things together to generate so much interesting story, I’d be rather gutted if they’re both gone.
The Draenei and Humans are now pitted against the Blood Knights and Sunwalkers because of the faction war.
Pretty much nullifying any factional progression made previously.
As for the Ashbringer, it is the same for many of the other named weapons. The shards of Frostmourne were reforced into terrifying new weapons, only to be depowered a year later.
We all knew it would be hard to write a removal of the weapons convincingly, so it was to be expected.
I think any human paladin that’s not completely brainwashed followed Turalyon. As for Tyrosus and the rest, I suppose they are busy training orcs in Hearthglen by day and diddling them by night or something.
If I remember correctly, Ashbringer was held by Lyin’ Liadrin back in that artifact retirement quest in Silithus, right? She probably gave it away to Sylvanas as a gift.
And it’s good it’s gone from Argents… for good. Bunch of posturing cowards. Saying “muh light” is all they are capable of, but when someone uses val’kyr to raise people five meters from them, they ignore it, because that person has an official good boy certificate. No real values, throw it in the trash! Sad!
If the blade ever appears again, it should go to the Scarlet Highlord, if any still remain. That’s where Northern Lordaeron could be utilized.
The only Silver Hand paladins I recall seeing in BfA, are the ones fighting for Turalyon in the Arathi war front. The Horde paladins have reverted back to their pre-Legion tabards and loyalties as far as I can tell, with the SH looking like it’s becoming a pro-Alliance organization once more.
And the Ashbringer? No idea. A lot of artifact weapons remain unaccounted for.
looks over to Sylvanas and the Forsaken as they Blight/plague Silverpine, Hillsbrad and Gilneas, while recruit more Scourge forces into their ranks and mass slaughtering the innocents/refugees raising them back up to fight.
Funny thing is that you even have horde quests in Bulwark to use the blight in cleansed lands around Andorhal, because it’s too un-scourge-like for the forsaken. But since they have a good boy certificate, Argents and Cenarions won’t do anything.
Alliance should just recruit Krosus and fry all the filthy neutrals like they deserve.
dissolved more or less like most of the other Neutral factions as their members were made of members from the opposing factions.
with the alliance part rallying behind Golden boy.
Since he is one of the founding members if i recall correctly.
as for the Ashbringer?
Stored away as a memory of the Legion wars upon a pedestal a former shadow of it self on full display for all to see in their sacred halls.
High Lady Liadrin is in the posession of both, the Ashbringer and Quel’delar. Her unhindered duty and loyalty towards the light and for Azeroth are one of the greatest around. The Highlord of the Silver Hand, probally a Champion of the Horde too, gave her the Ashbringer because that Champion knew she is one of the most trustworthy. Her name be praised, she will show this r.acist Turalyon, who is stuck in the pre third War Era of Azeroth, that the Light choses by faith, not by race or faction alignment. Lead the Blood Knights towards victory My Lady!
They could easily bring back the Ashbringer if they wanted to, just like they plan to do with Xal’atath. I am keeping it in my bank in case they every need to empower it.
“In the name of Death and the Dark Lady! Forward!”
Velen had us given no reasons so far to be hostile against him, unlike the Hijackforged trying to respark the tyranny of the Light all over Azeroth. Because a true follower of the Light fights with the Light, not to establish a total rulership of said religion/faith. Perhaps both Turalyon, and Captain Fareeya need some lessons about Compassion instead of Retribution.
The blight is for amateurs. True Knights use Anima Golems instead. Much superior as shock troopers.
If blood elves kill some draenei, I think it’s deserved. They already attempted to annihilate them twice, once on Outland and the second time on Azure/Bloodmyst Isle and their leader still helped them. It’s also completely ironic that half of draenei npcs tell you “Remember the lessons of the past”.
They are not space goats, but space lemmings. You can’t help them when they decided to commit collective suicide again.
