The T3 bonuses for Retris are lacking any thought, they just look like the very first ideas that got thrown on the set or taken from a random subreddit filled with Retri Paladin hate. All other classes are getting at least 2 insane bonuses, while we get a barely useable one, leaving Retri in the dust, again.
2p - Increases the damage done by your Divine Storm ability by 20%.
Supposing Might of Menethill remains the same, this might be the only decent bonus. If the weapon is changed this bonus will be as bad as the rest. Might be useable for Seal Stacking shoulders enchant.
4p - Reduces the cast time of your Holy Wrath ability by 100% and reduces the cooldown of your Holy Wrath ability by 60%.
This needs to go. Nobody uses a spell which drains 40% of our mana. This is absolutely impractical. I repeat, nobody uses the spell, and nobody will ever use it. No point in reducing the cast time and its cooldown since it leaves our mana pool dry and its damage is a bad joke.
6p - Your Exorcism and Holy Wrath abilities deal increased damage to Undead equal to their critical strike chance.
Will thuis be a flat amount of damage or a percent increase in damage? Getting like 60 damage on a 6 piece bonus is completely shameful. The damage gain will be irrelevant even if it is a percentual increase. Both the base damage and the scaling are so bad on Exorcism and Holy Wrath. What will our end game be? Getting a 3k crit every few seconds on Exorcism? Yeah, very nice! Even with the T2,5 stacking on shoulders we have to delay our Exorcism, which makes the build not worth playing. Or, shall we go a 1.3 grey sword form the vendors only to make this work?
Some bonus ideas:
- CS triggers the active seal
- DS resets CD (just like 2p T 10)
- DS hits multiple times on a single target
- Casting DS reduces the mana cost and cast time of Holy Wrath by 33% and the cooldown by 20%. Stacks up to 3 times.
- Seal of the Exorcist (6p bonus) - permanent buff- Stacks with the currently active seal. Casting Judgement unleashes an additional Exorcism. Casting Exorcism refreshes the last judged seal. Exorcism and judgement crits refund half of their cooldown and automatically refresh the duration of the last judged seal
- DS hits more than 4 targets
- Double chance for SoC to proc + procs cannot miss be dodged, parried or blocked
- Special crits reduce the cooldown of Avenging Wrath by 1 second each
- Seals Last now for 30 minutes and are no longer removed by Judgement. Judgement damage increased by 10% and its critical damage bonus is increased by an extra 25%.
- Every seal proc has a chance to unleash another auto attack.

I, for one, am pretty worried about the bonuses as nothing looks viable with them, risking to leave Retri i nthe dust, like every single patch Blizz did, making it the Cinderella of the specs.

Well… they did copy paste for most of the bonuses. Especially the 6p. So yeah… no reason to worry xD they are almost all boring to the same extent.
At least those are better than t1 bonus druids had/have in fresh that gave them damage for thorns

Ret will be viable with T1 6set bonus on shoulders and T2 belt/bracers. Then just fill in with T3 and random naxx loot
You are missing the point, so let me translate:
Wrath costs 900 mana, 40% of our mana pool.
Reducing its cast speed AND its cooldown is not going to make it useable or desirable in our rotations.

take a look at all the other class setbonus for naxx, they are boring and or useless. who wnts to fight undead only and not be able to use his gear outside of naxx or Strat ud runs…
I took a look, more than once. This is the only bonus that providez ZERO value.
Ah, and the 6p bonus is as useless. It adds a flat amount of damage to your Exorcism. Let’s say you have 30% crit. It won’t raise Exorcism damage by 30%. No, it adds 30 flat damage to Exorcism while the warrior gets 25% bonus damage to undead.
So, yeah, 6 pieces bonus adding mostly 50 damage to a spell. Amazing. Breaking it down to dps and supposig it is 100 damage for crits, casting it every 3-4 seconds the bonus grants 25-33 dps. THIS IS A 6 PIECE BONUS!
Remember, the 4p bonus will be mostly situational, using it on aoe trash clear with zero impact in boss fights. Wrath costs around 900 mana, approx 40% of our mana pool.
Reducing its cast time and its cooldown by 60% will not make it any more useful.
So, yes, we have 25-33 dps for 2 bonuses. Retribution is left in the dust again.

Its simming bottem of the barrel, unless they input massive changes to the tier set, its gonna be a nightmare

Seal twisting and seal stacking are unplayable. No matter what shoulder enchant you pick, you give up too much. Sanctified gear is way too powerful to skip. The only playable spec is Exodin, which has to choose between 2 shoulder bonuses - the AQ 4p one OR the -3s cd and extra exo damage one, which are not brilliant, being given the poor basic damage and poor scaling of Exorcism.
Even for Exodins, Naxxramas is a punishment.
The sword with a very nice 1.8 speed keeps its +20% damage taken up all the time.
So, basically, you are punished for playing DPS paladin.

Ret situation sucks and I’m seriosuly considering to unsub.
I’ve already been the class that needed to be carried by the guild in order to exist and I don’t want that anymore.
RN our dps BiS are the blues from the invaison events while mages are doing 3x our damage.
I really copium atm for changes to the tier set, else its GG and reroll warr
The PTR confirmed my worst fear - The 6 piece bonus adds X mage to to Exorcism, does not increas its damage by the X%, x = the amount of crit you have.
So, yes, Retribution does less than a tank atm. We have a pure Vanilla experience.
As i understand it and what i saw was 4p T2 and T1 set on shoulders was that simed best.
But i dont know they maby haven’t simed full sanctefied.
This is the problem when suposed T set isent the best.
The second thing that dissepoint me is we need 1 set to be bis in nax and another to be bis outside. As they said that Crypts is set to be hard and for well geared people and the suposed best dosent work there becouse its outside Nax.

We are back being the worse dps class once again… in the raid we are supposed to won lorewise.
The Seal stacking is at 25k on a 2 mins Patchwreck. The only specs we beat is 2h melee hunter and backstab rogue… Amazing. Tanks sim 30k…
The next spec is 2h fury warrior at 35k, Spriest at 39k, while the rest of the specs sim above 43k.
Exodin and Seal Twisting don’t get to 20k…
So what you say is we will do more dps if we go 1h and tank spec?
