I have gold from my 60 so not at all i can basically farm it myself in 2 min, just aoe everything, but i’m not a scumbag who profit on it.
What’s wrong with profiting from it? You do realize that if you stopped this way of profiting, there would simply be fewer items on the AH, is that what you want?

As silly as twinking is, I’m not seeing why it’s such a big deal.
If you lower the price of twink items, you’ll just make twinking more accessible, thus more prevalent, making battlegrounds even more oppressive towards new players.
Also, as someone who doesn’t care about twinking at all, if I was leveling my character and a twink item dropped and turned out to be worth loads of money I’d be over the moon. This hurts new players who don’t care about twinking or BGs
High prices on twink gear are caused by the twink playing style, which is really just exploiting flaws in the way battleground brackets were set up in Vanilla.
It adds little to the game of anyone not engaged in twinking.
One of the things I dislike about Retail WoW has become is all the disconnected mini-games that function almost separately from the core game, and twinking is vanilla is just that.
I’ve disliked it at the time, I still dislike it now.
20-40g per hour, you’re clearly doing it wrong son. can make far more than that with a mage.
It’s a BoE gear. Either farm it yourself or pay the price. BoE random drops aren’t intended to be given to you. 2g blue chest from SFK would be a steal for my alt or any leveling main even - good gear at close to no effort. It’s a free market, a sandbox game and if you don’t like it play retail where everything is scripted and controlled so you can’t have “bad experiences”.
Or get the BoE while leveling and sell it for your mount. It works both ways.
Why? Twink item farming is actually pretty bad gold, it requires luck. You’d profit better killing lvl50 mobs than you would running through SFK hoping for a good item.
I have farmed it, the point is this should not be a better way to make money than farming gold at 60 and trust me it is, unless you have a bad class that can’t aoe farm then it is much better.
You’re arguing against strawmen now.
Clearly you need to learn to play your class if you don’t know this.
And this goes beyond gear. I understand that twinking is popular among some, to me it’s a net negative for the game.
It takes away a lot more than it adds.
It’s good gold only if there is lots of level 60 deck down toons sitting there bored. Early on or even right now people won’t drops zyllions of gold on twink gear. There is still lots of time to make twinks for BGs, assuming people want to rank a twink instead of main…
Sorry but your intentions are clear, you obviously are a twink seller yourself. 2g is a perfect plan, because people at the item’s level don’t want to buy it, they either farm it or find a level 60 in their guild to help them farm it, the only individuals interested in not having that 2g cap on 1-30 items are twink sellers, legitimate players would not suffer from this at all.

The only time a level 60 should farm drops in lower dungeons is to help their friends, family or guildies not to profit on twink items with malicious intentions.
Warriors is a great example, they sometimes have a hard time to farm things at their level as prot or otherwise so the obviously thing for a warrior to make profit on low level blues and they do as i speak.
But they should ask a friend or guildie to help them, hopefully a online game does not encourage gold farming by yourself.
Even if you farm it yourself, in the current ecosystem it’s silly to equip for just a couple of levels an item that goes for hundreds of gold at the AH.
The point I’m arguing for is removing twinking from the game altogether, trying to counter its negative effects on the economy with an arbitrary 2g cap for an arbitrary 1-30 level range is the worst out of both worlds.

It literally IS the economy.
They put their time and effort in and get rewarded with gold per RNG droprate etc.
If you want cheap gear for newbies you look at basic greens which stay cheap
