I didnt make millions. So am I supposed to use all I have on potions, because I didnt play mobile games?

potions/flasks are actually ridiculously cheap compared to the herb prices.
(i notice this on both servers where i actively play on)
try to sell your herbs raw, and with the profit from that you buy your potions.
most likely you will get a lot more stuff than if you are trying to craft it yourself.
why waste your precious herbs for crafting, if you can get more by just selling them?
more bang for your buck and its less work too 
You didn’t even need to play the “mobile game” as you call it, it was part of the class hall (pretty much MANDATORY in Legion). Just simply log on, send them on 4-5k gold missions every day, on numerous alts. Bam, 100ks were incoming.
I mean if you failed to even do that to try and make some gold then I would say the only game you do play is mobile games.

Not true you had to get to 110 get the champions lvl them up also get the right gear for them also had to do the antorus quest line get those followers and so on alot of work needed to ramp up to get 3k per char every couple days you would have needed atleast 20 chars all lvled up and geared to get 100’S of K per week/month please dont spout nonsense.
Same in WoD if you had the time and resources could be done but it was far from easy like you say but then again Tym likes to talk so much BS.

This. I also didn’t get rich from those missions. I just couldn’t keep up.

What do you mean? A potion is around 600-1000 gold each on my server. I roughly use 12 potions in a dungeon and around 40-50 on a raid night.
Which is around 7-10k gold per dungeon
And around 30-40k for a raid night…
You call this cheap ??? 
I mean people lately just stopped using potions in dungeons and raids… So alchemy/herbalism is broken atm in my opinion, if people would rather sell that use common potions.

what do i mean mean?
your goal is to get potions.
they cost 600 to 1000g on your server.
now go check herb prices…
if combined materials needed to craft that potion cost more, than you are better off to simply sell your herbs and buy desired potions with gold you just made.
you will still need to gather herbs, but you might get more potions than if you crafted them by yourself. it will decrease your time spent for gathering.
