The server is in dire need of help or it will die for sure.
So, I can only speak for alliance side, but:
I wasn’t able to get any Outland instance (as a healer) for the past 5 days at semi-primetime
Even getting a VC group for my twink took around 3 hours
There are next to no people anywhere in the world
You can’t do things like the Goldshire fires because there are too few people around
There is next to nothing in the AH, especially items in the 40-60 range do literally not exist, and the remaining lineup is - very - limited (I couldn’t even buy full mana gear for my druid to heal VC)
And that is only a few things I directly noticed over the last few days. /Who search brings back around 120 people online from 1-60, about 35ish from 60-70 at 23pm-0pm ish (weekend!). That is literally nothing. There are no new incoming people and this server will die.
Most newcomers quit early when they realize all of this.
Mind, it’s not even DF release yet, which likely will take anywhere from 20%-50% off of a classic servers pop. (huge hype)
Blizz should merge Jin’do with big daddy Thekal now. Jin’do players should have originally been with us on Thekal, so if not a merge, then free transfer to Thekal and lay Jin’do to rest.
Blizzard creates problems and sell the solution. It doesnt help though when ppl on jindo spam ”gtfo this server” or ”is this server dead comment” every hour by max levels, that scares levelers away. I took the bullet snd moved with free transfer to jindo, then they opened thekal and thats pretty much an execution on jindo from blizzards part.
Wrath has pretty easy endgame in phase 1, so most players who finished leveling are raid logging right now. The only difference with fresh realms was that latter are full of retail tourists and fresh belivers who think that they will play Wrath, but they won’t as Dragonflight or other hype will drag em away. Also some left for Overwatch 2 although I do not find this copy paste money grab a new and good game at all.
Exactly my thougths. Think many of them are the ones that bounce from private server to private server after 1 month, thinking that now is definitely their time to shine, except it never is.
Oh, and here I thought it was the players crying about the queue even tho Blizzard clearly stated “We wont open new servers” and “It wont get better but worse …[so mind where you roll]”.
Anybody with half a brain could understand that after the dust settles, the leveling is done and people have pumped time into the Pre-Raid BiS, the queues would be naturally gone.
Opening Jindo was nothing but a big misstake, and people called it.
But no. Lets cry about queues for 2 weeks, then play on medium/low servers with raidloggers for 2 years. The loudest people probably stopped at lvl 74 (if even that), 4 weeks ago.
I guess its time for all the jindo players come back to thekal and make it great agian. Splitting the server was a bad idea. Yeah it was 5 hours que ( at the time) but we already know people were gonna go back to their mains on gehennas and firemaw once the relase dropped.
