The Stonemasons

War.
It pushes people to their worst behavior. There are those, who stand with the King and support him, and then there are those who’d seize the opportunity to push their own agenda.

And what would be more fitting time to dig out old hatchets and hatreds, than now, when Stormwind’s defenses are at their weakest?
Soldiers have ran out, as the boy digs fighters out of farmers.
Throughout the streets of Stormwind, posters and fliers have made their appearances. Posters, which akin to ill omens predict the coming of something nefarious. Something malevolent.
They read following;

"Hear me, brothers and sisters. Those who’ve been done wrong. Those, who with their hard work have struggled throughout these trying times.
You are being robbed of your freedom, and made to fight for the country which took everything from you!
You are made to give everything, even though you’ve hardly naught but your skin and bones to offer!

This tyranny must end. And it will end soon.
The Wolves of Moonbrook will never fall. They will never cease to spread the truth. The message, which the Boy King’s father learned the hard way!

WE WANT JUSTICE!"

So what say you, stranger? Do you rip it down, or seek out these so said “Wolves of Moonbrook”?
The decision is yours.

Were the Legate in Stormwind he would return to Westfall to beat down vagrants and traitors with the rest of the Rose by his side. Count yourself lucky. Disappear before the eyes of the patriots turn east once more.
(Good luck with your civil unrest!)

Good thing he ain’t then

Yo ho’, yo ho’! On our way to stone the Queen!

Vilumina strolls casually through the streets when she catch something with her eyes. She picks up the flier from the ground, it was dirty from somebody’s boot that had trampled on it but the text was fully legible. As she reads through the memo a chill runs down her spine as she unwillingly draws for breath. Memories rush forth and with an inch of pain she wonders if her parents were among them, if they even still lived. She stood motionless for a few moments before she wrinkled the paper and threw it back on the ground. That was not her life anymore she told herself.

If you guys are interested in a morally questionable private investigator dogging your footsteps and bringing some much-needed tension to your story-lines…

I’d be happy to get involved! I can throw a wrench in the works every now and then and offer my skills as a DM to help your initiative.

Dis some peaky blinders stuff right 'ere! I love it!

Can wholly endorse the Duke of Hazard. He gave us a delicious event in Stormwind; many wenches were faceplanted. Some of our boys have origins in Westfall as well - perhaps our paths will cross in the future. Stick to your turf though! :dagger:

:telephone_receiver: Hello. Is this Stone masons? Yea. About your pay. We ain’ paying you. We spend it on booze and stuff so hope you don’t mind living without any money for rest of your lives. Sucks doesn’t it. Yea and stop swearing. You sound very dumb and immature when you do. Toodle tip

Bumblewind the Wizard stumbles upon the poster while waddling about Old Town. The left-leaning Gnomer finds himself agreeing with the points made, nodding to himself as he reads about the tyranny and oppression the proletariat of Stormwind face on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, he has ran out of rolling paper and the poster soon reincarnates into a half-arsed cigarette.

Upon walking down one of the less crowded streets in Stormwind, Trace’s eyes catch one of the proclaimed posters. “Look at this, Oswel!” The excitement in the man’s voice clear enough for Oswel, the older, grey-haired man to stop in his tracks. “Bleedin’ hell, wha’ is it Trace…-I ain’t in no mood for…-” Oswel’s voice echoes out to a faint mutter as his single eye scans the poster… “It would appear we aren’t the only ones playing a dangerous game.” Trace comments, eyes full of potential and positivism as Oswel in stark contrast looks weary, old and tired… “Aye Trace… Reckon it’s abou’ time we look into this…”

OOC note: I’d love to get in touch with you for future collaboration or something of the sort, as I run something with similar themes!
