Hi there,
Now 6 times in a row, when doing the Storm’s Fury event, once the portals are all cleared and we are ready to engage the boss, we can attack it for 6-15 seconds. After that we all get layer shifted to another “instance” of the event that has all the portals up, basicly resetting our progress. Relogging - reentering - regoruping with the event doesnt change the behaviour.

Im now testing it with a group formed OUTSIDE of the event area and going in together. Will let you know if that helped.
Same thing… Portals gone, boss being attacked, SWOOSH! reset event…
Same thing happened to me. Seconds after engaging the boss, the layer swaps and event resets back to closing 4 portals.
Still happening this morning on Earthen Ring. Three times so far. Me and usually around 4-5 other players end up standing around by the boss, all by ourselves. I assume the other 10-20 players ended up in different instances/phases. Or maybe they were lucky enough to complete the kill.
First time we had the boss down to when the second set of elite adds spawned, then next couple of times it was during the first set of those adds. Lots of people pissed off on my server.
Still happens
Yep it’s still happening. Many times I had to start over the event because the final boss despawned/disappeared/phased. Same goes for the chest top on the map.
