So what is going to happen to the big sword, killing Azeroth. To be honest i don’t believe we have done much to remove it. So in shadowlands are we just going to forget it, or what is going to happen
I think the lady, who was too busy writing Sylvie plotline forgot it exists.
And here I was thinking BfA and Magni is about that sword and the wound and comes after, not someones fan fiction made canon as we got now.

In 8.3.5 we will use all the azerite stored in the Heart of Azeroth to completely destroy the sword. This will result in Heart of Azeroth losing ability to empower Azerite armor in 9.0 as well as make it slowly lose the power of essences.

I mean, it’s a pretty heavy sword and since we removed the corruption element from it I don’t think it needs to be removed. Just let it be there, you know? Where would we even take the sword?
If this is actually true that’d be a great way of dealing with it, hopefully Blizzard takes notes on this.

Probably they forgot about it.
Vale of blossoms was left corrupted for a decade.
Old world is still shattered and elementals are going crazy since cataclysm.
The blood elves never finished repairing Silvermoon since tbc.
The Draenei still live in a rathole.

We use our HoA to shrink it down so we can wield it ourselves but it needs a special resource you can only find in the shadowlands to make it work properly… grind that AP!!

We could just send an army of enchanters there and get them to disenchant it. Bet it gives some great mats.

Magni invites us over at the end of the expansion:
Magni: yer should give my yer amulets and all your dearly farmed essences.
My character: what will you do with it?
Magni: totally nothing champion. The sword isnt dangerous.
I needed help back then, but essences were more important.

We’ll tickle Azeroth with Azerite, just enough to make her sneeze. From experience we can conclude that that would make every hole pop… sending the sword into the Pantheon which catapults Illidan back to us.
About the same quality of writing in BFA, so I see it as possible. 
But least people of Stormwind managed to fix the city. … Eventually.
