The Three Missing In Action Classes: The Tinker, The Spellblade, And The Necromancer

Theyd be a great class no doubt and would answer a decade old plea from the community

Im not rly sure however u could fore this to fit haha, i feel like BFA woulds been alot better fit wise haha

Well, if BFA had been done right, it would have been 3 expansions.

Maybe Tinkerers could have come in during the middle “Faction War” instalment as the Factions make use of Azerite to fuel expansionism. Would leave an expansion gap between itself and Legion’s Deamon Hunters.

Still, the explorer renown faction in DF would be expanded upon and play a more prominent role to make up for the new class if it was brought in.

What if they change the engineering profession to be a gameplay spec instead. As a profession it does have many problems, so making it a gameplay spec, that provides lots of buffs/cc/maybe turrets/etc to the group could be extremely cool, if done right

If true, then that’ll probably suck ALOT.

Necromancers being only dracethyr will be a huge let down, especially since the Iconic necromancer race is humans.

…wow. As an Evoker myself…

I completely agree. Give me my Steam Warrior, I’ve been waiting years and years to play something similar to what Gelbin Mekkatorque drives

Yeah, haha, I was gonna say; you can’t be taking offense when your class is less than a year old!

I think Tinkerers definitely should be mech-suit users. Hence why only Goblins, Gnomes and maybe Dwarves (…?) could work. Vulpera seems a bit too low-tech sadly.

They’d effectively be a cavalry class, using a special mount in combat!

The mechs would have aesthetic options based on the Faction/Race. You’d still be able to fully see your character and their transmog sitting on top. It’d have been great!

Wonder if Vulpera could somehow work? They’d need a massive amount of lore build up for it. Their mech would need to be definitely Vulperan but not just water-wheel and hyena-driven.

The tank tinkers should use mechs, support/healer tinkers should use bots and other robots while dps tinkers should use turrets, bombs and guns.

But do you also lowkey expect this after considering the lore of the forbidden reach, the black dragonflight and the community having asked for necromancers for so long? xd Dracthyr being necromancer’s TOTALLY makes sense lorewise, and I’m not being ironic in the SLIGHTEST. Also, one of the only Necromancer’s in the game outside of the Lich is Neltharion after all, and we’re not getting death knight 2.0. Dracthyrs are also advertised as the conjuring summoner classes, since they “invoke” things. It only makes sense. Whether it’s good or not is not what I’m talking about, since it’d also make me sad to see dracthyr necromancer

Ok, yes, definitely. It’d be funny to have just a Tank and Healer spec for the class but I am sure that at least one DPS would also help.

Why not have the Healer own a “pet” mech that effectively tanks for them. A bit like a supportive Beastmaster.

The DPS would be an actual totemancer, with his stationary mechs actually being part of the rotation? We’d need to make sure it’s different enough from Demonology if he just summons a lot of them. He could maybe cobble together flamethrowers and other silly weaponry?

They are just Human Warriors. Not any form of spellbreaker or spellblade.

Tinker is the only new possible class I have interest in. I love the fantasy of it (there’s a reason my hunter has had engineering for basically her whole existence).

Rhonin started as a mage, and until his death has the leader of Dalaran Council a.k.a Council of Six. The Council of Six members can only be mages. All humans that are a part of Dalaran are mages.
The entire city of dalaran was build to be haven for Human Mages.

Rhonin started out as a writer’s pet and he died cause he was too cringe. Anyway, using those types of characters as support for your argument is bad for your argument.

Can Spellbreaker be the class , and Warden be a specialisation? Or does this just categorically not work? haha
You menionted Sentinel and it piqued my interest , though I have NO idea what Spellbreakers are and don’t know anything about them

What? He is a bad proof because you don’t like him?

I went with Sentinel , because primarily people called that use arcane magic. Warden on other case, hate to burst your buble are at the end Survival Hunters.
But if you know better please tell us.

spellblade class introduced with high elf themed expansion race to alliance yes yes yes. (battlemage/spellblade)

Members can also be Warriors, Paladins, Rogues and Hunters.

Those Humans are just Human Warriors. Nothing about them is about magic. Spellblades / breakers are just an Elven thing and should remain Elven. Nothing to do with ridiculous Humans.

Human Warriors can have their own thing.
Spellblades and Spellbreakers should be a Nightborne and Blood Elf thing respectively.

We’re not interested in anything Dalaran related, to be perfectly honest. I don’t care so why you keep harping on about it, is beyond me.

Loving the passive aggressiveness when I tried to be very polite and just inquire
Yeah no thanks

Man, your trying. You do know that there is Kirin-Tor Sentinel. The Night elf aren’t the only ones that have sentinels. Also , when ever someone like you had Lost, i like how they always call me toxic.

It’s you’re trying , not your trying. I genuinely was interested. You’ve massively, massively mis-interpreted what I said.

Do I? Do I? because actually, I DIDN’T!

Perhaps see

and

So it should be safe to assume, I am most certainly no lore buff

But congratulations on sharing information and informing people that were genuinely interested
