so most weapons are shared between classes/specs. So basically swords can be rolled on by many specs/classes etc.
but the warglaive is bothering me.
Demon hunters have a hidden class buff of “easier to obtain their weapon”.
Not only they can use swords, axes (and fist weapons?) - they can also use class-unique warglaives.
if they cannot win “shared weapon” - they might be lowkey certain to get a warglaive if it drops in a raid. How many DHs do you have in an average 20 man raid? 1? 2? 3 tops.
if you are a DH leader - you don’t have to doctor your group too hard to get a warglaive.
judt make sure you are the only DH.
This is not the same as with hunters because hunters actually have it harder - they can only equip bow/gun/crossbow and nothing else.
Most classes, say mages - can roll on weapons every other boss - however the caveat is they have to roll against many
DHs do that too - until they reach a warglaive boss.
And if the warglaive is not unique-equipped, they can even get 2 at once!* sure someone might “mog-roll” it but the DH might beg/buy it then rather easily
solution?
I think it’s time to add warglaives to monks. Monks are perfect because they can dual wield and they don’t even use their weapons in combat. Weapons for them - staves, swords etc are literal stat sticks.
You might think it’s not really a BIG deal but it kinda is - imgaine certain classes being, for reasons unknown, privileged in getting gear. Like any time there is class-specific item that is powerful while others don’t get it, it’s kinda sadge. The good example might be evoker’s staff from Diurna.
Only for evokers… And trust me - before account-wide mogs - I saw this staff drop without any evokers in the raid. Feels just bad. Win on greed and DE xD
I know it wass similar with bows but even before warband mogs - rogues and warrs could at least mog-roll.
Either way - I don’t like this DH privilege.
PS: “Just play DH yourself” is not a solution or the proper response.
