I recently had my first death in Official HC, and two boxes immediately appeared on the screen.
I can’t remember the second, but the first was “Try again”. Given that death is permanent, I assumed that “Try again” meant “make a new character and go again”. So I clicked that option.
I was surprised to see my “dead” character still listed on the character loading screen as available to play (i.e. not in ghost form). Somewhat confused, I decided to delete it there and then.
First question: was my “dead” character simply being shown so that I could ask for a free character transfer?
Second question: on Official HC, when a character dies, can you send its money, resources and gear to another character before deleting?
Personally I don’t think this should be allowed. But I’m curious to know the rule.
