Earthen Dwarves. The progenitors of our deeply beloved alcoholic stout friends, the absolute originals. Finally added as an Allied Race, where no one would even dare to say that another Allied Race would be more favorable. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE wanted this perfect third Dwarven Race, to complete the TRIUMVATE OF INHERENT AWESOMENESS. Now, there is no way to ruin this, right? WELL YOU WERE WROOOOOOOOOOOOONG, for you see… They seemingly have Generic American TM accents. These cave dwelling, Rocky dwarves with the lusciously blonde hair option, who live DOWN UNDER and fight ABSOLUTE UNITS OF SPIDERS while being totally cool which is inherent in the very Dwarven DNA itself, should of course have had an Australian accent, the first in a playable WoW Race. I came before Blizzard, my hairline receded beyond any point known by man, starved for hope and dropped to my knees, begging them, pleading to know if the news was truly true. ''Papa Blizz? ‘’ I said, tears welling up in my eyes. ‘‘Yes, my child?’’ Papa Blizz answered. ‘‘Is… Is it true?’’ I asked, the first warm tears streaming down my cold cheeks. ‘‘Are Earthen Dwarves really becoming playable?’’. ‘‘Yes, my beloved’’, Papa Blizz responded, softly wiping the tears from my puffy cheeks. ‘‘You need not cry anymore’’. ‘‘Do… Do they have the Aussie accent?’’ I asked, my hope restored from but a flicker to a bright, bellowing light. To that, Papa Blizz’s demeanor seemed to shift, and he gave me a stern look. ‘‘Generic American Accent TM, my child’’ He responded, the words echoing through the place where my soul once resided. From that moment on, the tears have resumed in a seemingly endless flood, but Papa Blizz no longer had any intention of wiping them.
Please Papa, hear your child. Give us the Aussie accent we deserve. You may yet save us all.
Sincerely, your dear child.
EDIT: It was meant more in a joking manner, I am sorry for the confusion. Although I would have preferred an Aussie accent instead of an American one, I do not feel it is actually gamebreaking. If anything, I’m looking immensely forward to The War Within.
