So, what is there actually to do as a PvE enjoyer? Specifically “character power” grinds.
There is a fairly decent amount of “one time” things to do, but where is the usual grinds?
Heroic Dungeons to get 580 Ilvl gear - Done
Using Crests to improve gear - Done
Do all Quests & Sidequests - Done
Do all Rares each week for rep - Done
Do all Treasures for one time rep reward - Done
Get Brann to level 15 (Got him to 18 before they capped him to 15?)
There is no M0 to do weekly on characters.
There is no “grind” possible for renown
Brann got capped at 15, where he used to be capped at 60.
This might be “off topic” but in MoP Remix, it was heavily frowned upon to farm/grind things. Why does it feel like this has been brought to retail too?
Sure, i am not expecting massive character power grinds, as a large majority did not like that for Legion Weapon & Heart of Azeroth as examples. But why did Brann for example get capped at 15?
It actually feels pointless to engage in delve with this out of nowhere cap.
In Dragonflight, we had options to grind renown rep, although be it very small amounts or rares to hunt an essentially +3 ilvl increase. No real gain, but it was something to do.
Now i find myself just logging out and hype dying down, as theres 14 days of nothing to grind. This is very unusual for me for an expansion launch.
Sure, but this is not character power grinding. This is collecting, of which i do not have any interest anymore, due to ingame shop & unobtainables being added back
Yeap I’ve done everything, just now farming herbs to get my Alchemy to 100 and then that is pretty much it, until M0 and other content arrives.
I can’t get anymore crests to level up my renown gear as it seems once you hit renown 11, they do not give you any rewards, even though they should. Probably another cap put in place by Blizzard.
So, when Blizzard give people power grinds … people complain… when they dont, well people complain. There is no wining and i am convinced players are crying and complaining just for the sake of it.
You’re far from done, you’re lower ilvl than me and I only farmed gear 1 day to get blues. There’s people 580+ already, you have things to do, you just don’t want to.
I think the only complaint I can get behind, is the Auction House. Everything else I don’t mind waiting for new content. I like fishing/herb gathering as I find it relaxing xD
Getting to 585 gear will be best if you want to raid normal. You can push it, but it’s not worth it. Maybe you can upgrade to 600 before S1 goes live, but I doubt it.
