The Weak Link (quest) phase/bug

Hi,

For me, the quest “The Weak Link” is bugged, unable to continue with The Primus NPC in the wrong phase.

The Runecarver’s Oubliette does not show me the correct NPC, so I cannot complete “The Weak Link”, and I cannot proceed to craft Legendaries or access Powers.

Steps taken to complete this were proceeding in Zereth Mortis, working along the “Secrets of the First Ones” campaign. Progress in this campaign takes you to the Runecarver Oubliette and presumably phases the Primus NPC there. Guessing that’s causing problems if you have not yet progessed the Runecarver questline beforehand.

EDIT: The bug presents itself when you are tasked with completing the quest.

Have submiitted an in-game bug report likewise.

TLDR unable to complete “The Weak Link” quest, caused by progressing too far into “Secrets of the First Ones” campaign without breaking free The Primus beforehand.

*this prevents you from crafting Legendries!

EDIT: completing “Reality’s Doorstep” seems to have fixed the bug! Runecarver Oubliette was phased correctly after this and I was able to complete “The Weak Link.” Phew

Happy to hear you resolved this on your own, it’s quite common when doing phased quests like this that continuing with another quest chain your on will fix the NPC position for the other quest chain, if they’re running simultaneously in the same area or with the same NPCs.

We actually have this already noted, but have not yet published a support article with this information.

For me finishing this quest also helped, Runecarver appeared back in where he should be and could continue with questlines.

I do have the same Problem, however this is my first SL character and i have not started ZM Questline yet. Runecarver is also not shown as Primus, but still as chained.
There is no dialog option in the quest window.

I have checked all other quests but nothing seems causing a phase. Has anyone had a similiar problem recently?
