So anyone farming those reps until now was just wasting time again ? That sure wont made people mad.
I mean if you want to blast through it for whatever reason, then that’s on them. If they didn’t want to wait for any rep events that may happen, then what more can be said?
You needed to do the dailies for keys for delves… not sure how you would go out of your way to farm a capped grind?
Only the people who simply must crash through everything as quickly as possible. People with brains take their time and enjoy any boosts that come along.
Do you need to level to get these bags… might dust of my twink since the TW buff killed them 
They dont go trough rep grinds as fast as possible. they just casualy playing getting rep then Blizzard puts in boost and everyone of those people feel like moron what just wasted his time.

I’m happy about it because it’s a big help so that you don’t have to go in undermine at the beginning of the new season. I can focus on the new content.
Like I said. People with brains enjoy the boost. “morons”, as you so delightfully describe people, get mad about a boost. Sensible people say “hey… Freebie.”
Not our fault if you smashed your way through everything quickly as you could and missed the benefit of a CATCH UP!!!.. boost.

I wish people would stop justifying the eventification of WoW.
The reps have been active for 20 weeks this reset only people that will be mad are the ones who tried to grind it in week one.
I don’t grind, but I turned in whatever Market Research I had accumulated over the month, doing WQs/Delves/Rares, yesterday with DMF buff… argh!
Absolutely this. Rather than doubling rep gain for handing in market research they should halve the rep requirement needed to get max rep. (Edit - or double everyone’s current turned-in market research).
This is a very typical short-sighted dev decision, they do this stuff all the time and sometimes fix it retrospectively. Seriously, guys use your heads for once.
Its about the 3rd or 4th time we have had this buff i really do not see the problem with it, just seems anything blizzard do atm people whinge about it.

So much of the game is a time-limited event these days it seems is what I meant.
But comes around often if you miss one you can catch up in the next.
Why not just design great content that stays in the game and does not come and go?
