The winter queen

So since the big reveal of the new raid and the new cinematic confirming that the jailer is just automa? Robot? Whatever, and that all the cov leaders were created in ZM does that mean that the winter queen is not the sister of Elune? Or is Elune also automa robot thing too

At this point the lore and story telling in this game is so F.U.B.A.R that it’s pointless to even care about it anymore.

Not the answer you wanted but yeah they are all robots which just cheapens their entire character development … not that the jailer had any but Elunes pretty much screwed as well now and I just hate the lore at this point.

i think it depends whit Elune, considering almost everyone or everyone in the shadowlands are dead, meening more or less all are robots there, bound whit a soul pretty much, but question is, is Elune also dead or not, if she for some reason actualy is alive, she might not be a robot though.

this also makes me question the existence of shadowlands, I know they says the some higher beeings created it, but at same time, they are robots, what smells like the titans did have something to do whit it also.

The eternal ones are supposedly cosmic spirits and those robot bodies are just hosts. This makes them not dissimilar to the titans and the keepers serving to host them.

Elune as such is one spirit of many as custodian of a portion of reality. Though she clearly has greater agency than her sister, able to intervene on Azeroth.

Why did dansuer think it was a good idea to involve robots into a fantasy genre can he go work on StarCraft

…we already did the “you’re decended from robots”-thing in Wrath, though. Not for all races, but gnomes were certainly part of the package. The problem isn’t bringing robots in, they were already there. It is mixing up the different areas of the theme park. The robot is ok in Titan Town, he is not ok in the Elven Grove.

I really hate the “robots all the way down” approach as much as the next lore nerd, but I’m still glad that troll fans dodged this particular bullet  So far, that is…

OH yeah forgot about this

Imo another significant difference is that Titan-forged races just… don’t really care if they’re Titan-forged ? Most even have forgotten about their origins and very few seem to have any real interest in their lineage, except Dwarves. They developed their own cultures and their hands aren’t tied by their heritage or status as former Titan constructs.

The Eternal Ones (and everyone in the SL really), on the other hand, seem like cogs in the First Ones’ well-oiled machine.

robots where in warcraft atleast since wrath of the lichking, where we got to know, many races where robots from start, until N´zoth gave them the curse of flesh.
