I haven’t really gotten anything from farming yet, but the closest was getting the [Antorus Gloomhound] drop, I’m still farming a few other things but no luck so far xD
The one thing that really grinds my gears is trying to get the red [Scythe Of The Unmaker] -_-
I guess the farm I was most invested into is a Model W pre nerfs grind.

Trying to get the Shaman sets from Nighthold LFR and Tomb of Sargeras LFR. Each time, everything -but- Shaman mail drops. Then I go on another character such as a Hunter or Warlock… and the Shaman specific mail drops FLAILS
Trust level 3?

i can go weeks with several groups of 20 people across multiple toons and not see any scythe drop, red or blue
Experiment 12-B. If I hear Thrall saying, “Yes, I see…”, one more time, I’ll be trying to reach through my monitor to strangle the green fake. The tedious pre-boss fights don’t help much either.
And no, I don’t have it yet.
Kor’kron Dark Shaman set got me over 200 runs on 3 shamans. Got on Zandalari after 3 years of farming.

Glorious legplates. Spent weeks farming in Silithus and Winterspring. Ended up buying them from AH, then a few months later they dropped when I was leveling an alt.
I got 2 of them in ~250 casts, with the first one on my 33 cast, that I gave to my friend. It was almost one month ago.
Blazing Drake in DS, 7 months on various alts, I thought Blizz were trolling me and the mount didn’t exist

Thousands upon thousands casts for me, full days of fishing and nothing.
Maybe you cant fish it a second time if you use it and it goes to the mount tab.
I can show you spot where I was fishing, maybe that would help you anyhow…
I got this once so i dont think the spot is a problem, who knows maybe its just bad luck.

Mainly because of the Epic mounts it offered, without you having to pay 1200 gold to be able to use them.
That’s why I never cared to get the white wolf mount that came with Exalted reputation in AV.
You still had to pay for the epic training mount.
The Guild I was in, (this one) had by now lost 2-3 GM’s. Meanwhile I had achieved nothing. Only lost time as a officer trying to help other players that meanwhile had left for better guilds.
My RL friend who I started playing the game had achieved rank 10 together with another RL friend he had.
They were on a premade that fell apart once the leader got Rank 14.
I had to PUG, as I had nothing else.
By this time we already had Cross realm BGs. But we also had 10 to 15 man premades and most people playing Alliance were decked in T2.
Some players had T3 pieces, I found a Alliance premade in wich the NE Protection Warrior was in full T3 Naxrammas set.
Needless to say it was a never ending cascade of defeats, between WSG and AB.
I avoided AV as it was a never-ending battle usually.
Victories being that drop of water on the desert.
Best chance to win was always against Alliance PUGs.
Which was also rare to find.
I remember we losing to a Alliance PUG in WSG and one of our players saying:
“Good job you lost the easy game.”
Other player:
“You call this easy ??”
Had to take 7 days off just to get the last rank.
I remember my sister coming at home at night and when we start talking my jaw started to hurt. I realized I had sit still in front of the PC the whole day.
Meanwhile my ranged weapon sucked.
I was doing ZG with another Guild but the Epic bow didn’t dropped.
Luckily Blizzard decided to open the PVP armory to everyone without rank restrictions, because TBC was coming.
So I went again, this time to get the High Warlord Bow.
Which I also got.
I still hold the PVP set, the PVP bow and the four epic mounts PVP mounts till this day.
