I have ancient achievements for “hur dur look how long I have been playing” nobody cares what everyone else has.
It’s because Blizzard is listening to opinions like this that the game is going this direction. What happened to actually having to earn things?
Why should anyone be motivated to go after anything now if it will just end up the same. All this encourages is a participation trophy culture that is sucking the life out of the game.
The people who have been helping new players get into the game are now getting tired and leaving… Enjoy your touring rockets, feldrakes and soon all the Challenger, Glory and AOTC content. Don’t cry to us when LFR becomes unclearable because too little players still care.
If that’s what you got from what most people are saying, then you’re not understanding the message.
You can’t earn something that isn’t earnable anymore. That is the issue.

Why do they have to own EVERYTHING? There are things I did not earn when they were available and that is totally fine! I am happy for the people who put in the effort and now have a token of their effort. That’s the only thing games have.
Gaming by its very definition is wasting time and that’s okay! It’s a hobby we do for fun.
Let people earn and be proud on things. If that makes them happy that’s fine.
MMOs appeal to people because it’s a genre in which you can do meaningful work and be rewarded for your efforts. It let’s old players be good and new players learn…
Take away the rarity and soon all you are left with is an amplification of the current culture of people wanting handouts while the game slowly loses more of its soul and players.
If you want the rewards do the content. If you missed it. Suck it up Buttercup. It’s just a game you don’t have to feel entitled to owning EVERYTHING.

Except when that happiness comes at the expense of other people’s happiness.
More so when the amount of people it affects vastly outweights the former.
None of that is taken away by re-releasing old stuff that was removed at some point in time.
If you don’t like them re-releasing things that were removed, too bad. Suck it up Buttercup. It’s just a game; you don’t have to feel entitled to own something that someone else can’t get.
It’s easy to turn all of it around. It’s a preference. You clearly feel a certain way and that’s fine; but it doesn’t make you right.
And to be clear: I already had the rocket for years and years. I don’t have a personal agenda here.

I have also a RaF Mount and I agree with Livia:
Imo all mounts should be on trading post,including Cosmetics,everything is losing value anyways with boost’s & gold and whatnot.

RaF rewards are not achievements, not really, you used your wallet to get them
so i would argue its fine
i too have the rocket from RaF and it doesnt bother me, as i know i paid for it using my own wallet
… now if you saw a AoTC mount on trading post i would kick off. that is not fine.
