The years go by, and nothing changes in PvP

I agree it’s so easy to generate honor and reach the conquest cap. Just don’t only do battle grounds but also play war-mode.

The most interesting thing is that bg blitz is already ruined, and I just though oh finally something good for pvp. I see a lot of players with very low honor lvl, probably farming bloodstones or something. They are not interested in what happens during the match or the outcome of the match. They don’t know how maps work. This happens even at a not so low rating. And if you tell them something, they immediately report you. On top of all that, for winning at 1400 rating you get 10 :joy:

And a bunch of old problems. This time I finally understood ie. accepted that pvp in this game will always be garbage. And that’s how I will treat it in the future. I will occasionally play exclusively when I want to kill some time that way, with 3% brain activity without any desire, effort or ambition.

of course nothing changes
folks in brawls or epic battlegrounds either ignore objectives
or dont know the enemy is a premade
by baiting you near their town near their gy and their guards you play in their hands
and thats how they win

tho this complaint is regarding brawls and non rated pvp just incase

new players being in your game who don’t even know what an objective is, surely this is blizzard’s fault and not your own for managing to get stuck at 1400?

After that you agreed, that the honor gear become redundant quickly. And that’s what I mend. So what’s point gear in a day if by damage on random BG you delivery half, maybe, compare to ppl with conquest gear?

Yes it’s Blizzard fault. Because Blitz couldn’t be scored same way as RBG.

its not though. its way harder to climb in RBGs because people actually build good comps and play in voice there. sub 2500 MMR in BGB is literally random teams and all you have to do is keep 51% winrate and you automatically get at least 1800-2100 after 60 or so games.

the only way you don’t get this if you are the weakest link on your team consistently and go on a long losing streak down to the rating and MMR you actually deserve to be at.

On the second day of the season I was close to 2k rbg blitz, top 5 frost dk eu. Tough matches, close, everyone plays seriously. Then I took a break for 4-5 days because I didn’t have time to play. I come back and it’s like I’m playing diff game. The game puts me with low rated low pvp exp players. I literally don’t know what happened. But even that is not a problem, I understand that someone has no exp etc. But the problem is that they are not interested in the match and they are actually not pvp players nor do they know the maps. It’s like suddenly I’m playing a f2p mobile pvp game with 10 year olds. And I repeat, it’s not just about who is good/bad or has/has no exp etc, there are players who don’t have exp but they try and want to progress and achieve something, but it’s simply impossible when you have half the team playing as if they’re testing a new dps rotation.

Whoever had time to play those first 5-6 days did something, everything after that became garbage.

I see you speak like a true pvp expert, strange that you couldn’t break 2k 2s, 1.8 3s and 1.7 rbg.

nice one - uh i’ll use your strategy: the reason im not 2k in 2s is because blizzard uhh, the MMR system so bad, uhhh, not my fault.

Looking at your acc it looks like you’ve had a problem with mmr system every season since WoD :joy:

very impressive - lets compare the times we’ve whined about being 1400 MMR perma turbo stuck in the free rating bracket that is BG blitz.

so for me its zero and for you uhh… oof

skull emoji, joy emoji

But don’t give up, keep trying. I’m sure one day you’ll break 2k 2s, 1.8 3s and 1.7 rbg.

maybe this day i’ll drop to 1400 MMR and see you instead!

The SHADE :dracthyr_tea:

Hey, can we take a step back here? Yesterday, I lost several games where I definitely wasn’t the weakest player. I returned the flag four times (by killing the enemy flag carrier and capturing it), and I even brought one flag back, but we still lost. I was following objectives, trying to survive and contribute to the team. On base-capturing maps, I sometimes have less damage than expected, but isn’t the objective more important than just damage?

Do you really think you’re always right? It seems like you’re trying to present a specific case or limited information as the whole truth. But that’s not how things work. If you check both EU and US forums, you’ll see similar complaints. Do you think that’s just a coincidence?

My warrior climbed to 1600 so easily, I didn’t even understand how! And honestly, I feel like I play worse on my warrior than on my druid. I played some skirmishes for a quest and even managed to win against two Fire Mages, which felt like a miracle. I’ve been recording my matches and analyzing them. I’m not a gladiator, but I’m not clueless either.

You’re putting all the blame on me (and others dealing with Blizzard bugs, as seen in other threads), but are you ignoring the possibility that something might actually be wrong with the game?

I’m playing, improving, and trying out new builds. I managed to get my druid to 1594, but it’s frustrating when for 4 wins in a row I get + <less than 10> each or less for a win and -19 or -20 for a loss. Let’s focus on discussing game mechanics based on examples, like this one. In other threads, other players are sharing their issues too, not just boasting about how you got 2400 on three characters. If you’ve got something reasonable to say, I’m all ears. Otherwise, this “Chuck Norris of WoW” act is getting a bit old.

Again, no one who get 2400 will not able do repeat this success in middle of season easily. Prof me wrong.

Me? Not at all. I start playing RBG only when it was necessary for gear, I’ve gear up and enjoy epic BG’s always. But was really burn in Shadowlands, and drop subs and didn’t play, completely skip DF.

Basically right now I do the same, cap → epic BG’s skirmishes. Lost interest to broken system. I’ve planned suffer for saddle, but seems it’s bugged or… I don’t know why but for me progress freeze at 65% :frowning:

I’ve create many topics because I really DO NOT UNDERSTAND blizzard devs. I mean they do not undertand how could be? They do not play their game? They won’t realize that game is 20 years and they must change something? That’s it.

BTW, very puzzled and feel insulted because of class balance problems all the way and I pay for it?)))))

you can watch people make new characters and get 2400 every single day on twitch, i dont know what to tell you. you yourself improved your winrate by 10%, a 33% improvement over your old winrate. this gained you around 250-300 rating.

keep at it and you will continue to climb. i can’t give you specific feral tips cuz i dont play feral. i can’t give you specific bg tips cuz i haven’t seen your gameplay.

as I said in a previous thread - it is exceptionally suspicious that the only people who encounter these bugs are people who typically play at 1600 rating or below in arena and rbgs.

Can you link me to a player who is a well known great player at their spec, who has been duelist-elite-gladiator-rank 1, or HOTA more than once and is now stuck at below 1500 rating in BG Blitz after 50+ games?

You watch twitch right? so go watch closely many players says that balance has problem, that MMR:CS problem. Nobody says that is perfect. BTW every single day 2400? lol… keep going.

really m8. I am tired of you. Look, is simple. Not everyone wants be galdiator. No body wants easy titles. Just normal. Ppl waiting for solo RBG a long time. As I said on forms several times solo shuffle is best what’s happening with WoW PvP. But Blitz is bad. Fact. Balance is bad. Fact! I won’t be a streamer who make content and plays 24/7 and he is super awesome. I can buy boost for RBG but I think this is ruined sense of the game.

That’s it. You are going to ignore I guess.

Lets try a different approach. What proof would you need to have laid before you in order to consider the following reality to be possible:

  1. There is no MMR bug
  2. You are at the rating and MMR you’re at because of your own wins and losses
  3. You can improve this rating and MMR by winning a lot
  4. Other people don’t have this issue

Lets make a bet.

This is the feral leaderboard for battleground blitz. There are currently 28 ferals above 2400.

This is the fury leaderboard for battleground blitz. There are currently 25 furys above 2400.

This is the affliction leaderboard for battleground blitz. There are currently 38 affliction locks above 2400.

Heres the bet:

I think 1 week from now there will be more affliction warlocks, fury warriors and feral druids above 2400 than there is today.

If this is the case, you must then recognise that there is not a problem with the MMR stopping people from climbing rating, and as a result, agree to never post about this issue ever again.

If this isn’t the case, I will never post on the forums ever again, but not before admitting you were right the entire time, first!

Deal or no deal?

You see, I am an I am an engineer and a mathematician and that’s my bread, ok? So to accept that bet I need to understand start point, which is unknown. And according to the big numbers this leaderboard is hoe many in percents? 5? 10? One more time m8 go take a beer or tea, whatever you like and just stop blaming people who struggle of unfair system for everything ok?

And yes, I agree that in these lists will be new names, what does it proves?

you say here no one will be able to get 2400 again easily who already did it:

heres a mini example:

same player, ranking up his warriors at the same rating, swaping between them.

one is 2325, one is 2310.

i think both of these warriors will be 2400 in maybe a week and a half depending on how much he plays.

this shouldn’t be possible if MMR is bugged and unreliable and not representative of your winrate.
