The Zskera Vaults

This is a dumb question I know. But I gotta ask what’s the point of the Zskera Vault.so far I’ve opened 10 doors and all I’ve found are stones and chests that I eventually go back for when I get the correct key and again gems or smashed gems.

Does the vault give any more or is it there just to obtain random gems?.

You can get mounts from it according to wowhead

Is that kinda it though?

Well it is not a mandatory thing, nor a carrot you have to forever chase; the ring is not a real borrowed power since basically worse than you already have… and if not, you can have a little fun
The Zskera Vault is just a neat little contet to pass time, but not a Thorgast like nightmare, not Vision of N’Zoth headache

I dunno, I only went in the first time today and got an egg that I need to add some blue magic to, to get a mount but I haven’t found the blue magic yet

I haven’t even figured the ring out fully yet.

Oh I also found a headlamp thingy that helps you find smaller things easier and there is a thing that helps you search the firey vaults easier if you’re lucky enough to find it :woman_shrugging:

There’s like 1 mount and 4 pets and a few toys in there. But that is pretty much it. If you don’t collect then there is barely any reason to do it.

Thanks for the info folks, I’m glad to know it’s not really a serious thing that needs to be completed daily .

It apparently resets weekly, so there’s that…

I quite enjoy it, Zskera vaults is like a WoW escape-room (Well, more of a “Break in room”, but you get the idea), every trap there is countered by something from another room, so going from room to room, figuring things out is quite fun, not sure how well it will hold up when i’m done figuring out and it’s just “Ok, here i do this…”, though…

This pretty much. Once I get my mount, I’ll never touch it again probably, although I quite like it. It’s quite good since it requires 5 brain cells, and certain rooms in the higher floors help clear rooms on the lower floors. I liked it very much tbh.

I got a cute mechanical frog pet, also one other, a toy with Alexstrasza hologram. The one thing I can’t figure out is how to use the winds buff when the scroll buff pops out and replaces the button on the screen.

I think its an experiment, and we are at the best moment to try the experiment.
Most people have done what they wanted to do and its a nice thing to interact with.
Not mandatory content and it wont impact stuff in the long run.

Its just, collect keys and hope you get something cool
I like it, its simple

The new Borrowed Feebleness system. It’s the future…

It does?
Are you meant to collect that many keys in one week? So far I’ve only had the 6 from the intro quest but I’m still working through the campaign and not out farming keys.

you cant compare it to mage tower or even torghast, visions or island expedition its a gimmick something to waste your time by farming rares for keys and open these doors. nothing more nothing less.

I have opened all the doors and have extra 50 keys already and it’s still half the week of key farming to go. So yeah you actually get a ton of keys if you do stuff there.

Opened all the doors on the same day and there was nothing useful in there.
don’t really know what the idea is with that vault, because what’s in there is also outside on the island.
The vault is perhaps just a slightly more concentrated way to get things

Rares drop keys often, and you can buy containers of random items from the Dragonscale expedition envoy for 2000 elemental stuff (Which drops like rain in Forbidden reach), which also contain keys quite frequently.

For me the whole point of that zone is simply getting more achievements
and one of those achievements is to open a lot of doors.

For me, the point is that it’s a fun side activity. I enjoy puzzles, and figuring out how everything works keeps me entertained.

That said, I hope they don’t keep buffing the ring to the point where it’s so strong that my (mythic raid) main can’t afford to be without it because the grind required to get the correct gems at the highest ilvls will take the fun out of it.

Got 3 battle pets today, if it means anything.
