Thematically confused

Hi all, I’ve been loving Spriest since DF and was really looking forward to Hero talents, but was left confused by the theme of Archon and Voidweaver.

Archon favours Void Eruption and Voidweaver favours Dark Ascension. Shouldn’t this be the other way around? I love Voidweaver, but every one is saying play Archon for damage.

The themes of both, and the interactions don’t make sense to me.

Mate, they couldn’t answer you because it confuses them as well. For me priest was slowly killed when WOLTK dropped, I lived to raid back then and Blizzard thought f*** that, eat this big poop sandwich instead.
